Job Function Work under the direction of the Sanitation Supervisor and Sanitation Manager, lead a group of sanitation technicians with daily cleaning tasks. Job Functions • Work under the direction of the Sanitation Supervisor and Sanitation Manager, • Oversee the tasks and train subordinates on proper sanitation SSOp’s., • Maintain proper communications with upper management as well as production, maintenance, quality control, and warehouse departments., • Conduct scheduled preventative maintenace including dismantling and inspecting all processing and packaging equipment., • Be able to work OT as needed, be able to work flexible hours., • Lead the saniation group to conduct sanitation tasks based on order of urgency., • Be able to maintain all record paperwork of all cleaning including the master sanitation schedule, • Perform other duties as required. Work Content Physical Demands The employee will be on feet 100% of their shift. They are walking up to 100% of their shift, and will bend, kneel, reach, push, pull, lift items/equipment up to 50lbs. Body mechanics is crucial to meet the demand of the physical labor. PPE Required: Sanitation Aprons, chemical resistant gloves, Safety Glasses, Face shield. Rubber water and slip resistant Toe protected boots. Work Environment Warehouse and production exposure will be expected. You may be exposed to fumes, temperature changes (hot, cold), loud noises, wet environment and moving mechanical parts and vibration. Qualification Education and Experience Years of Experience 1 years in a previous Lead role in sanitation. Education High School Diploma or High School Equivalent. Job Purpose The packing department works together to pack finished product, the packing process includes tests, calibrate, and measuring, recording, and checking instruments and equipment for conformance to established standards. Job functions • Check finished goods to ensure there is no leakage of product before packing the item., • Create LPID’s using the scanner and label printer at the workstation as well as logging the pallets in the daily production report., • Double check the label to ensure it matches the appropriate batch being packaged., • Following GMP guidelines package items into boxes, tape, shrink wrap, stack, and palletize., • Will obtain training and certification on the pallet jack if placed in a position where the use of pallet jack is necessary., • Performs related duties as needed. Skills: • Be able to communicate with other team members., • Be able to read and understand label and palletizing procedures., • Be able to learn different areas of the packing process and department., • Push and pull up to 50 lbs. regularly on an 8-hour or more shift., • Be able to utilize the electric pallet jack, will receive training. Experience: 2-3 years in previous packing function.
