As our Strategy & Operations (Sr.) Associate, you will own Maiden Home’s inventory management systems and ensure we can deliver on our customer promise and achieve our growth objectives. Reporting to the Sr. Manager of Strategy & Operations, you will be critical in driving on-time rate, in-stock status, and working capital investments and efficiency by maintaining a keen eye on inventory levels and supporting partner communications. Further, you will elevate the luxury customer experience by executing mission critical activities that support day-to-day operations. This role is located at our New York headquarters, located in the TriBeCa design district. Responsibilities Inventory Management • Manage Maiden Home’s inventory (fabric, finished goods) across its manufacturing network, ensuring a 100% in-stock status, • Oversee set-up of fabrics and leathers in Maiden Home’s assortment, driving seamless launch of new materials across the partner network, • Own systems and tools, including the fabric forecasting model, that to determine inventory consumption forecasts and drive purchases across partners, ensuring our network is well-resourced for customer orders, • Track inventory receipts, transfers and sell-through rate on manufacturing partner balance sheet to ensure timely and accurate information on fabric and leather inventory within the network, • Effectively engage mill and manufacturing partners to ensure the network is resourced to support Maiden Home scale and launch of new products, • Own onboarding of new mill and manufacturing partners for inventory reporting to support seasonal fabric and product launches, • Act as primary intermediary between manufacturing and mill partners to ensure seamless coordination of fabric and leather orders, • Enable client-facing teams to deliver a seamless customer experience by collaborating with mill and swatch partners to meet our customer promise, • Coordinate internal teams and external partners to seamlessly execute fabric adds, drops, transfers and special requests (e.g., FBTY), • Execute special projects (e.g., fabric panels for retail stores, one-time fabric / leather orders for NPL) as needed, • Support cross-functional priorities for the organization, incl. retail footprint expansion, manufacturing network expansion, and new category growth, as needed, • Identify opportunities for and own implementation of new processes to improve operations team output and day-to-day activities, • 2-4 years of professional experience in an analytical and strategic role in fast-paced, high-growth environments in either professional services (consulting, finance) or at start-ups or consumer product companies with a focus on supply chain, demand planning, operations, • Structured problem-solver - able to evaluate opportunities through a financial, operating, and customer lens and understand key interdependencies across the decision set, • Collaborative, cross-functional team player - experience managing internal and external partners and aligning stakeholders on solutions that support Maiden Home goals, • Strong commercial mindset – able to extract trends and translate strategic objectives into financial and operating forecasts, • Continuous improvement and results-oriented - relentless focus on customer experience and elevating the Maiden Home brand.
