Job Description Site Leasing Agent Paths is a full-scale, vertically integrated affordable housing developer, builder, and operator. Since 2004, the Paths team has created and preserved high-quality affordable housing across the U.S. that enhances communities and helps residents build better lives. Summary / Objective: The Site Leasing & Administrative Assistant is responsible for supporting the property management team by performing day-to-day administrative tasks and leasing functions. This role assists in achieving leasing and occupancy goals while ensuring efficient office operations, exceptional customer service, and compliance with all affordable housing program requirements. The ideal candidate is professional, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Classification: Non-Exempt; Overtime-Eligible Location: Boston, MA Essential functions/Responsibilities: duties include but are not limited to the following Leasing & Marketing • Greet prospective residents, complete guest card information, determine eligibility, and assess housing needs and preferences., • Conduct property and apartment tours, highlighting community features and benefits., • Process and qualify rental applications in accordance with property rental criteria and program requirements., • Prepare and execute lease documents, addenda, and move-in files; collect rents and deposits., • Conduct move-in and move-out inspections with residents and the Maintenance Director., • Maintain accurate records of leasing activities and meet monthly leasing and occupancy goals., • Assist with annual recertifications for HPD PBV residents and other affordable housing programs., • Support marketing and community outreach efforts to promote property visibility and engagement. Administrative & Office Support • Serve as the first point of contact for residents, visitors, and vendors—answering, screening, and routing calls and walk-ins professionally., • Prepare and modify correspondence, reports, memos, and other documents as needed., • Maintain organized electronic and hard copy filing systems for resident and property records., • Schedule and coordinate meetings for site and property management staff., • Handle general office duties, including photocopying, faxing, mailing, and maintaining office supply inventory., • Collect tenant rent payments, input and track work orders, and post resident notices as needed., • Assist with special projects, reporting, and administrative tasks as assigned by management., • Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations. Requirements • Minimum 1–2 years of leasing or administrative experience, preferably within property management or affordable housing., • Knowledge of affordable housing programs such as Rent Stabilized, LIHTC, and Project-Based Section 8 strongly preferred., • High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework a plus., • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)., • Experience with Yardi property management software strongly preferred., • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, • Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills., • Professional demeanor with strong attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively., • Knowledge of Fair Housing laws, ADA, FCRA, and affordable housing compliance requirements.
