Job DescriptionJob Title: Electrical ForemanJob Summary The Electrical Foreman is responsible for supervising and coordinating electrical crews on commercial, industrial, or residential job sites. This role ensures all electrical work is performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with project plans, schedules, and applicable electrical codes. The Electrical Foreman serves as the on-site leader, overseeing workmanship, productivity, material usage, and coordination with other trades. Key Responsibilities • Supervise, direct, and support electrical crews on active job sites, • Plan daily work activities and assign tasks based on project schedules and manpower availability, • Read, interpret, and execute work from electrical blueprints, schematics, and specifications, • Ensure all installations comply with NEC, local, state, and job-specific codes and regulations, • Coordinate electrical work with project managers, general contractors, inspectors, and other trades, • Perform and oversee installations including conduit, wiring, panels, switchgear, lighting, and power systems, • Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide technical guidance to electricians and apprentices, • Enforce job-site safety policies, conduct safety meetings, and ensure proper use of PPE, • Track labor hours, material usage, and job progress; report status updates to management, • Order materials, manage inventory, and ensure tools and equipment are properly maintained, • Mentor and train electricians and apprentices to support skill development and job readinessQualifications, • High School Diploma or GED required, • Completion of a recognized electrical apprenticeship program preferred, • Minimum 8–10 years of hands-on electrical experience, with prior leadership or foreman experience preferred, • Strong knowledge of electrical codes, safety practices, and inspection requirements, • Proven ability to lead crews, manage schedules, and meet project deadlines Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
