Responsibilities: • Maintain the Ammonia refrigeration and other freon based cooling systems including, but not limited to operation, maintenance, and repairs., • Maintain and operate single, two stage, cascade ammonia systems and subsystems, • Monitor and identify abnormal operating pressures, temperatures, and conditions within the refrigeration system, adjust, repairs and/or schedule service as required, • Thoroughly understanding and able to handle refrigeration system components, including vacuum pumps, chillers, evaporators, condensers, compressors, controls, and valves etc., • Perform and delegate to daily, weekly, monthly, annually inspections, and preventative maintenance on the refrigeration equipment and other cooler machinery on and off-site as needed, • Perform other maintenance duties such as plumbing, replacing valves, installing fixtures, detecting, and repairing leaks as needed, • Handle hazardous materials as directed and follow guidance of OSHA and EPA, • Monitor and record all system readings to document operation of the equipment and the system and provide reports and troubleshooting, • Respond to emergency breakdowns of the refrigeration systems, • Procure quotations and bids for the order of work scopes, repairs, parts, and construction projects as needed, • Ensure continuous training and competency of refrigeration updates and standards, • Train personnel for routine check and system following the SOP, • Thoroughly understand and can act upon based on EAP and technical guidance during emergency and system malfunction situations, • Handle unscheduled and emergency shut down of equipment, • Ensure all refrigeration equipment is functioning in a safe and optimal manner, • Ensures continuous operation of all the facility utility systems and supports preventative maintenance programs., • Assists in the record-keeping and training requirements for all components of the Ammonia refrigeration system in compliance with State and federal guidelines., • Must perform duties as assigned by the facility Manager. & Chief Engineer Qualifications Must posses a Blue SealToxic To Operating license issued by the state of New Jersey • Minimum of 5 or more year of Ammonia and freon based refrigeration experience, • At least 4 years of active experience with cooling processes, ammonia refrigeration, and other freon based facilities within a produce and food processing and storage facility is a plus, • Experience with screw and reciprocating compressors, recirculation pumps, HVAC units, air compressors, and associated control systems, • Work experience in ammonia system pump-downs and repairs, • Knowledge of chemical testing for cooling towers and ammonia system preferred, • Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills, • Ability to understand refrigeration blueprints, P&ID, and cut sheets, • Hazmat Responder Certification preferred, • Trained and experienced in lock-out, tag-out, and safe work practices, • Must be able to respond to emergencies if needed 24/7 including after hours and weekends., • Best-practice and professional knowledge of industrial maintenance and standards, • Able to perform in a fast-paced environment, • Must be detailed-oriented, cost-conscious, and deadline sensitive Physical requirements • Able to climb stairs and ladders and fall-protection trained, • Able to work at variable heights, • Able to lift, push, and pull 50 lbs. in weight Environmental conditions • Roof height and outdoors; cold, wet, and cold storage temperatures Benefits • Comprehensive health insurance package, including medical, dental, and vision. Job Description Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor or other Manager, the HVAC Mechanic “A” will lead the daily operation of the HVAC/R shop at the College. This position will be responsible for the ongoing temperature control and comfort of the heating and cooling systems at the College to support academic, lab, administrative, and specialized HVAC/R systems. Job Description We are seeking a Senior Architectural Designer to join our collaborative design team, working on highly detailed, high-end residential projects both locally and internationally. This role is ideal for an experienced designer with a strong command of interior architecture, residential detailing, and construction documentation, particularly within traditional and classically influenced architecture. Our projects often pair traditional architectural frameworks with a thoughtful mix of modern, traditional, and eclectic decorative elements and FF&E, so we are looking for someone who understands how architecture, interiors, millwork, materials, and furnishings come together as a cohesive whole. The Senior Architectural Designer will take significant ownership of projects from design development through construction, working closely with principals, architects, interior designers, consultants, contractors, fabricators, and craftspeople. This is a full-time, in-office/on-site position, five days per week. What You’ll Do • Lead the development of interior architectural plans, elevations, sections, reflected ceiling plans, and detailed construction documentation for high-end residential projects., • Develop sophisticated architectural details for millwork, cabinetry, paneling, moldings, doors, fireplaces, stairs, ceilings, stone, flooring, bathrooms, kitchens, and other custom interior elements., • Translate design concepts and precedent imagery into refined, technically accurate, and buildable architectural solutions., • Produce and oversee coordinated Design Development and Construction Document sets using AutoCAD and Revit., • Work comfortably within traditional and classically influenced architectural vocabularies, with an understanding of proportion, scale, profiles, materials, and detailing., • Collaborate closely with interior designers to integrate architecture with decorative schemes, finishes, lighting, fixtures, and FF&E, including projects that intentionally mix traditional and contemporary design elements., • Coordinate architectural drawings with structural, MEP, lighting, AV, landscape, interior design, kitchen, millwork, and other specialty consultants., • Review drawings and details produced by junior team members, providing direction, mentorship, and quality control., • Participate actively in design reviews and contribute thoughtful design and technical solutions., • Coordinate directly with contractors, fabricators, vendors, and craftspeople to resolve detailing and constructability issues., • Lead or support construction administration, including site visits, RFIs, submittal and shop drawing reviews, field coordination, punch lists, and resolution of construction issues., • Communicate confidently with clients, consultants, contractors, building departments, and other project stakeholders., • Maintain project schedules, finish and material schedules, drawing logs, specification information, and other project documentation., • Anticipate coordination issues and take ownership of resolving technical challenges throughout the project lifecycle., • Help maintain the firm's standards for drawing quality, detailing, documentation, and design execution. What You Bring • Seven or more years of professional architectural design experience, preferably with a high-end residential architecture, interiors, or multidisciplinary design firm., • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture, interior architecture, or a related field., • A strong portfolio demonstrating high-end residential interior architecture and detailing., • Significant experience developing and documenting traditional, classical, or historically informed residential architecture., • A sophisticated understanding of how traditional architectural interiors can work alongside modern, traditional, and mixed-style decorative schemes and FF&E., • Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and strong working proficiency in Revit., • Strong knowledge of residential construction methods, materials, millwork, stone, cabinetry, architectural finishes, and custom detailing., • Demonstrated experience producing highly coordinated Design Development and Construction Document packages., • Strong understanding of constructability and the ability to develop details from design concept through fabrication and installation., • Experience coordinating with architects, interior designers, engineers, contractors, fabricators, and specialty consultants., • Familiarity with building codes, permitting requirements, and approval processes; experience in New York and New Jersey is strongly preferred., • Substantial construction administration and field experience., • Excellent organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail., • Strong written, verbal, graphic, and presentation skills., • The ability to manage multiple priorities and project phases while maintaining a consistently high level of design and documentation quality., • The judgment and experience to work independently, make informed decisions, and recognize when issues require broader team input., • A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach and the ability to mentor and guide more junior team members. Drivers must be able to commute and show up ready to work as soon as possible. This is a casual/on-call part-time truck driving position that is perfect for licensed CDL Class B drivers seeking supplemental income and looking to work anywhere from 0 to 25 hours a week based on business needs. Job Description *This position will be located in Washington Township, Bergen County NJ* *This position includes Live in Requirements with housing paid for* *This position includes monthly Grocery allowance of $500-$600* New Hope is seeking a full-time, live-in Administrator at our maternity home, the Joan of Arc House, located in Washington Township, NJ (Bergen County). In addition to overseeing the smooth running of the household, the Administrator will be responsible for mentoring up to 5 first-time, single moms who have chosen life for their child. These moms will come from challenging environments and backgrounds. Many will have never experienced unconditional love. The Caregiver, with help from New Hope volunteers, will help start these women on their journey to an independent life and the opportunity for their child to thrive supported by New Hope’s mission of helping them achieve: • Financial stability via a meaningful career, • Parenting expertise, • Emotional stability, • Physical well-being, • Spiritual serenity Responsibilities: • Organize and post a weekly chores/cleaning schedule, • Ensure moms (and babies) are eating nutritious meals, • Daily meetings with all guests to discuss any issues/concerns, • Keeping updated records for each mom and baby per State requirements, • Document monthly fire drill results and any remedial actions needed, • Ensure moms and babies are keeping all medical appointments including arranging transportation where needed, • Hosting weekly workshops on relevant financial topics, job/career topics, and life skills topics, • Ensuring spiritual guidance is being offered, • Tracking and reporting progress of each mom on her journey to become independent Skills Required: • Strong communicator – Spanish language skills a major plus, • Comfortable with conflict mediation, • Strong organization skills, • Ability and desire “to walk in her shoes”, • Practicing tough love, as required
