About the Voice Agent Team, Role, and Responsibilities The Voice Agent team builds the real-time systems that allow agents to carry natural conversations across our omnichannels (phone, web, mobile, etc). We work across speech understanding, audio streaming, synthesis quality, and the voice specific execution logic that enables timing, pacing, and responsive dialogue. Our systems must remain accurate, responsive, and stable at scale. Voice is one of the most technically challenging surfaces in conversational AI, and our small team owns this entire capability end-to-end. As a Senior Software Engineer focused on Voice Agent, you will design and improve the systems that power the company's live voice agents. You will work across streaming audio, transcription, synthesis, timing, and real-time orchestration. You will collaborate closely with Research to bring new models to production, with Infra to optimize performance, and with Product to unlock new conversational capabilities. • Build the real time voice runtime that powers natural customer conversations, • Improve speech understanding and synthesis quality while keeping latency low, • Design systems that manage timing, interruptions, and streaming audio reliably The Insights team builds the product surfaces that help companies understand the conversations their AI agents have with customers. We create tools that uncover customer intents, highlight gaps in agent behavior, analyze voice of customer patterns, and guide teams toward writing better AOPs and improving overall agent quality. The team owns products like Insights, Watchtower, Suggestions, and AskAI. We focus on clear explanations, intuitive visualizations, and workflows that allow users to understand and act on information quickly. This product area has a significant opportunity to shape how customers learn from their data and improve their agents. As a Senior Software Engineer on the Insights team, you will design and build the user facing tools that turn conversations into meaningful understanding. You will work across backend and frontend surfaces to deliver intuitive experiences that help CX teams, APMs, and product leaders diagnose issues, discover new intents, and understand customer sentiment. This role is ideal for engineers who love building polished product experiences supported by strong analytical logic. You will solve ambiguous product problems and work closely with design, PM, and Agent Engineering to define how insight generation should feel inside Company. • Build user-facing features that help teams understand customer intents, sentiment, and voice of customer signals, • Design intuitive visualizations and workflows that help APMs and CX teams write better AOPs and identify improvement opportunities, • Create tools that highlight gaps in agent behavior, explain performance issues, and surface actionable recommendations, • Build product experiences that make it simple to explore conversations and understand why agents behave the way they do The Agent Orchestration team builds the core execution layer that powers every agent interaction. This includes the systems responsible for coordinating model reasoning, evaluating agent behavior, and ensuring that agents behave reliably in real customer environments. We focus on correctness, reliability, and speed. Our work shapes how Company agents plan, decide, and take actions across millions of interactions. As a Senior Software Engineer on the Agent Orchestration team, you will design and build the systems that determine how agents operate under real world conditions. You will own complex distributed systems challenges and create foundations that help teams improve agent performance, reliability, and quality. You will have significant autonomy, direct impact, and the ability to shape the architecture behind one of the most advanced agent platforms in the world. • Build the execution engine that powers intelligent agents at scale, • Design systems that coordinate model reasoning and actions while staying fast and correct, • Improve reliability through better testing, observability, and safeguards, • 5+ years of experience building production systems, • Proficiency in Python or Typescript and comfort with asynchronous programming
