Job Summary: the School Psychologist Early Intervention Evaluations Manager is responsible for ensuring the quality of evaluations meet the standards and timelines of the Early Intervention Program. Additionally, the School Psychologist Early Intervention Evaluations Manager will effectively grow the program, manage internal staff, and ensure that policies and procedures are being followed at all times. Please note that this is not a remote position. • Conduct clinical review of evaluations and summaries to ensure they meet standards., • Prepare plans with the department to ensure quality and timely completion of evaluations., • Recommend changes, prepare plans and implement projects ensuring timeliness and effective completion of evaluations., • Prepare and analyze departmental reports; determine recurring problems and recommend changes in procedures, standards and policies for quality improvement and problem resolution., • Conduct clinical training for evaluators and/or staff monthly or when necessary., • Complete 3-5 Evaluations per week, • Supervise and coordinate the activities of the ei evaluation staff, recommending measures to improve performance and increase efficiency., • Ensure departmental monthly goals are met while maintaining compliance., • Implement necessary Corrective Action Plans., • Address clinical questions from evaluators and/or staff., • Integrate the company's goals, initiatives, and relevant strategic plan objectives in all aspects of position responsibilities., • Ensure internal processes are within or exceed New York State regulatory requirements., • Keep up to date on all NYS Regulations: attend outside workshops and trainings for information regarding new policies and procedures as well as best practice; update evaluators and staff; hold training on new information as required. Qualifications or Other Requirements: • Master's Degree in School Psychology, • Must be a NYS Certified School Psychologist, provisional or permanent certification., • Experience in management/supervisory position in a health or education field preferred but not required., • Knowledge of the Early Intervention Program a plus., • Exceptional analytical skills., • Strong problem solving and decision-making capabilities., • Superior organizational and long-range planning skills with the ability to multitask., • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and leadership skills., • Excellent computer skills. Prior experience with Microsoft Office., • Must be able to remain in a stationary position for prolonged periods of time up to 90% of the workday working on a computer/electronic device., • The ability to observe details at close range (within a few feet of the observer)., • The ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations. Function: Report to the Assistant Residential Supervisor and Residential Supervisor. Assist the facility nurse and psychologist with providing medical services to the Individuals:  Aid the nurse and psychologist in the coordination of medical appointments i.e. audiology, dentistry, neurology, ophthalmology, physical examinations, Laboratory work, psychiatry, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and any other clinical services as per the Individual’s needs.  Schedule and attend clinic appointments; communicate results to the nurse, psychologist and/or residence manager including but not limited to any medication changes, need for consents, need for specimens; post follow-up appointments on the clinic calendar in the facility.  Serve as the liaison between the nurse, psychologist, residence manager or assistant manager.  Coordinate scheduling of follow-up appointments and ensure follow-up visits are carried out under the direction of the nurse. Serve as an advocate for the Individual’s by obtaining the best possible care at the clinics, hospitals and doctor’s office. Essential Functions:  Prepare clinic consults and other required paper work for appointments in the absence of the nurse under the direction of the nurse.  Coordinate and attend medical appointments under the direction of the nurse and/or residence manger.  Maintain sufficient medication supply and equipment in the absence of the nurse.  Schedule medical appointments and record appointments on the clinic calendar.  Report to the facility nurse, psychologist, and the manager and /or assistant manager regarding appointments and follow-up information.  Communicate with day programs regarding Individual’s medical appointments and changes in medical condition i.e. emergency room visits, under the direction of the nurse.  Inform management if any additional supports are needed for the Individual’s medical appointments.  Accurately use Precision Care software to maintain and track Individual’s medical information.
