As a Security Field Service Technician, you would be responsible for diagnosing, configuring, and maintaining a variety of security systems, including access control, surveillance cameras, intrusion alarms, and structured low-voltage cabling. This position centers on resolving service tickets, ensuring all systems comply with industry standards, and meeting customer expectations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in low-voltage technology, a comprehensive understanding of security infrastructure, and the ability to deliver top-quality repairs within commercial settings. Real-time documentation of completed work is also required. Key Responsibilities: • Security and Fire System Installation & Configuration, • Troubleshoot and repair access control systems, surveillance cameras, intrusion alarms, and security automation systems., • Troubleshoot and repair low-voltage devices such as door controllers, card readers, cameras, and alarm sensors., • Perform low-voltage circuit wiring, terminations, and connections for security equipment., • Perform inspections, testing, and maintenance (ITM) of fire alarm, detection, and suppression control systems., • Ensure all systems are operational, tested, and optimized for customer use., • Ensure systems meet all NFPA, state, and local regulatory requirements., • Interpret and follow blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications for system layouts., • Low-Voltage & Composite Wiring, • Pull, terminate, and manage various types of low voltage cabling for security devices., • Ensure proper wire management and organization for professional-grade installations., • Work with conduits, cable management systems, and structured cabling pathways., • System Integration & Programming, • Integrate security systems with network infrastructure, access control platforms, and video management software., • Perform basic IP networking configurations, including assigning static IPs and setting up remote access., • Conduct firmware updates and apply necessary patches to security devices., • Compliance & Safety, • Follow OSHA safety protocols and industry best practices for low-voltage electrical work., • Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national low-voltage regulations., • 3+ years of experience in security system installation and low-voltage infrastructure. *REQUIRED, • Strong proficiency in access control systems, surveillance cameras, and alarm systems (e.g., Milestone, Axis, Genetec, Lenel S2, Bosch)., • Hands-on experience with low-voltage wiring, terminations, and composite wiring., • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and security layouts., • Strong attention to detail and ability to produce clean, professional installations., • Experience with relay logic, maglocks, and door strike installations., • Knowledge of power supply configurations and PoE device setups., • On-site work at customer locations, including commercial buildings, schools, and industrial facilities., • Ability to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and work in tight spaces., • Comfortable standing for long periods of time and complete overhead work for long periods of time., • Pay of $50 per hour, • 10 days of PTO, • Five paid sick days, • Nine paid holidays, • Company Sponsored Health insurance, • 401k Retirement Benefits, • Required training/licensing paid for by company, • Voluntary professional development opportunities, • Overtime and potential bonus pay

Job Description OVERVIEW We are looking for true road warriors! Supervise all on-site construction activities to ensure safety, schedule delivery, quality of work and adherence to the budget meet all requirements of the contract documents. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION • Review and analyze all project construction documents including but not limited to drawings, specifications, amendments, accident prevention plan, quality control plan, and scope of work., • Coordinate and inspect sub-contractor work to ensure compliance with contract documents including drawings, specifications, submittals, quality control, and safety requirements., • Identify issues, RFI needs, and field changes promptly with practical solutions., • Oversee equipment utilization, material deliveries, and manpower allocation., • Support project closeout, punch list management, and turnover procedures., • Document daily on-site activities and progress including labor, work performed, inspections, deliveries, delays, weather conditions - with narrative and photos., • Coordinate and hold regular "tool talk" meetings to ensure project is on schedule and subcontractors understand the project plans and specifications., • Identify and communicate site safety concerns, conditions, and problems., • Implement and enforce accident prevention plans., • Assist with schedule development and updates, progress reports, and look ahead reports. QUALIFICATIONS • Minimum of 7+ years continuous experience in construction industry or equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience., • Heavy experience working with boiler systems, HVAC and/or high-pressure water or gas., • Knowledge of building construction means and methods, scheduling and cost control procedures, general contract, general conditions, subcontract documents, plans, drawings, and specifications., • Ability to read, understand and interpret contract documents, drawings specifications, scopes of work and project schedule., • Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills., • Valid driver's license., • OSHA certification., • USACE CQM Certification or willing to obtain., • USACE EM385 – 40 Hour or willing to obtain., • CPR & First Aid Certificate, • Experience with Procore desired., • Ability to follow directions, work with minimal supervision and exercise discretion and judgment regarding matter of significance.
