Primary Duties: PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES • Leads all technical aspects of projects for HV substation design and engineering requiring extensive engineering expertise. Requires maintaining state of the art engineering credentials in specialized technical areas. Accountable for the performance of other technical team members internal or external., • Evaluates complex technical issues that require highly specialized knowledge in very specific areas and recommends actions or programs for their resolution which necessitates the review/evaluation of engineering design documents. the areas include electrical engineering, substation equipment, civil engineering, protection and control and communications., • Leads the work activities of project teams and others on the implementation of large specialized HV substation projects and/or programs to develop studies, proposals, construction and commissioning plans to support planning and design of major utility and customer systems.
