    Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour Job description: We are seeking a dedicated Part-Time English and Math Tutor for a remote position, ideal for individuals passionate about education and student success. Duties • Deliver engaging and effective tutoring sessions in English and Math, including topics such as Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Calculus, Differential Equations, Statistics, and Discrete Math., • Develop customized lesson plans tailored to each student’s learning style and academic goals., • Utilize various learning technologies and digital tools to enhance the remote learning experience., • Assess student progress regularly and adjust teaching strategies accordingly., • Foster a positive learning environment that encourages questions, critical thinking, and active participation., • Maintain detailed records of tutoring sessions, student progress, and areas needing improvement., • Collaborate with parents or guardians when applicable to ensure student success and address any concerns., • Stay updated on current educational practices, curriculum standards, and subject matter developments across STEM fields such as Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Genetics, Anatomy, Physiology, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Data Structures, Machine Learning, Organic Chemistry, and more. Requirements • Proven experience in tutoring or teaching at various levels of education; classroom management experience is a plus., • Strong knowledge of Math (including Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Calculus) and English language skills., • Familiarity with curriculum development and lesson planning tailored to diverse learner needs., • Proficiency with learning technology platforms and computer skills necessary for remote instruction., • Experience working with children, students with special needs or in early childhood education is desirable., • Ability to adapt teaching methods for adult education or higher education settings as needed., • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and effectively., • Background knowledge in physiology or anatomy is advantageous for health sciences students; familiarity with chemistry (Organic Chemistry), Microbiology, Genetics is also beneficial for science-focused tutoring., • Passion for education with a patient and encouraging attitude towards learners of all ages.
