Responsibilities & Qualifications Include: Exterminator/Pest Control Technician • Drive company truck to customers located in NJ / NY. (Gas Card & EZ PASS Provided), • Service technician will work closely with management and customers to identify the pest problems and determine the right steps and service protocols., • Complete all paperwork and route logs accurately and timely, • Applying materials to structure when and if needed, • Face to face communication with our customers is a must, • Documentation skills with neat handwriting are a must, • Physical stamina to endure excessive bending and kneeling to locate pests in hard-to-reach areas, • Familiarity with electrical and plumbing systems in the event of infestations in the pipes or chewed wiring, • Good interpersonal and communication skills when speaking with customers and advising on treatment methods, • Exhibition of strong attention to detail when performing pest detection and treatment procedures, • Willingness to learn new extermination techniques and procedures based on industry trends, • Conducting thorough interior and exterior inspections to locate dangerous pests, • Setting traps for rodents (mice & rats), • Spraying perimeters of homes and structures for ants and other general insects., • Safe and efficient removal of wasp, hornet and bees nests, • Using bait to eliminate rats and mice, • Covering holes with mesh/excluder to hinder rodent entry, • Recommending products and services for effective pest control, • Show a stable work history, • Work independently and in teams, • Be comfortable working with insect and rodent pests in a variety of conditions and confined spaces, • Reference and background check (required), • Must have Valid Driver's License (required), • Pesticide Operator, Pesticide Applicator License (preferred), • Minimum 1-5 years as a Pest Control Technician (preferred), • Must be able to work Monday-Friday and some Saturdays
