Job DescriptionTRC's partner, Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant has a direct hire opportunity for an HR Performance Specialist to join their team.Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America (HMGMA) is the group’s first EV-dedicated mass production facility, featuring state-of-the-art manufacturing technologies. They are offering great benefits, relocation assistance and strong long-term growth potential.Th HR Performance Specialist will focus on conducting thorough internal investigations related to employee performance, workplace conduct, and Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) concerns. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, sound judgment, and a deep understanding of employment law, company policy, and ethical standards. Key Responsibilities • Lead and conduct confidential workplace investigations, including complaints of harassment, discrimination, retaliation, misconduct, and policy violations., • Manage and resolve EEO-related concerns in accordance with federal, state, and local laws (e.g., Title VII, ADA, ADEA, and EEOC guidelines)., • Document investigation processes and findings with clear, objective, and legally sound reports., • Partner with Legal, Compliance, and HR Business Partners to ensure consistent and fair handling of employee relations issues., • Track and analyze trends in performance issues, disciplinary actions, and investigations; recommend proactive solutions., • Support the design and implementation of performance management strategies and progressive discipline practices., • Assist managers in addressing employee performance concerns, coaching conversations, and development plans., • Maintain accurate and confidential records in accordance with internal policies and regulatory requirements., • Provide guidance and training to managers and employees on company policies, EEO practices, and performance improvement approaches. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) preferred., • 3+ years of experience in Human Resources with a focus on investigations, employee relations, or performance management., • Strong working knowledge of employment laws and EEO regulations., • Experience conducting workplace investigations, including interviews and case documentation., • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills., • Ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion and professionalism., • Proficiency in MS Office; experience with HRIS systems preferred.
