Get paid for performance PIRTEK is looking for a driven, field-based Territory Sales Technician who wants to own a territory, grow accounts, and help customers stay up and running This is not a sit-behind-a-desk sales role This is for someone who likes being out in the market, calling on customers, building trust, spotting opportunities, and turning service into long-term revenue. You will work directly with contractors, fleets, industrial operations, plants, equipment owners, maintenance leaders, and shop managers who need fast, reliable hydraulic and industrial hose support If you are competitive, mechanically inclined, and motivated by closing business while helping customers reduce downtime, this is the role for you What youll do • Hunt for new business across your assigned territory, • Build and grow commercial accounts, • Make in-person sales calls every day to contractors, industrial customers, shops, plants, fleets, and equipment operators, • Identify opportunities for hose replacement, fittings, adapters, preventive maintenance, emergency service, and related solutions, • Help customers solve uptime problems before they become emergencies, • Generate repeat business through strong follow-up and reliable service, • Manage your pipeline, track activity in CRM, and keep opportunities moving, • Work closely with operations and service technicians to deliver on customer expectations, • Someone who hates sitting still and likes being out in the field, • Someone who is comfortable walking into a shop, yard, plant, or jobsite and starting conversations, • Someone who can earn trust with blue-collar operators and decision-makers alike, • Someone who likes growth, accountability, and clear performance expectations, • Someone with enough mechanical aptitude to understand customer problems and help connect them to the right solution, • 2+ years in outside sales, industrial sales, field service, account management, equipment service, or a similar customer-facing role preferred, • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, • Self-starter mentality with the discipline to manage your own day, • Comfort working in industrial, construction, fleet, or equipment environments, • Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn hydraulic and industrial hose applications, • Ability to use CRM and mobile tools to stay organized, • Hydraulics, • Heavy equipment, • Construction, • Industrial distribution, • Manufacturing, • Fleet maintenance, • Waste, marine, agriculture, or trucking, • You are consistently in front of customers and prospects, • You are opening new accounts and growing share of wallet in existing ones, • Customers know your name and call you when they need help, • You create urgency without sacrificing trust, • Competitive base pay plus performance-based incentive or commission opportunity, • Strong upside for high performers, • Company vehicle or vehicle allowance, if applicable, • Training on products, systems, and service model, • Career growth with a respected brand in an essential-service business, • The chance to build something meaningful in your market PIRTEK helps keep critical equipment running.
