Job Description3rd Shift Train Car Cleaner Employment Type: Contract until January 2026 Shift: Sunday to Thursday, 9 pm to 5 am Compensation: $18/hr. About the Role We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Train Car Cleaner to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of passenger rail cars and related facilities, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for all passengers. Key Responsibilities • Thoroughly clean and polish lighting fixtures, floors, seats, surfaces, and trim., • Sanitize restrooms and replenish bathroom supplies., • Clean carpets, rugs, upholstered furniture, and draperies., • Dust furniture and equipment to maintain a tidy appearance., • Polish metal surfaces and fixtures., • Wash windows, door panels, and sills for a spotless finish., • Empty wastebaskets and ashtrays; transport trash to designated disposal areas., • Replace light bulbs and maintain cleanliness around dumpster areas., • Report any faulty equipment or maintenance needs to the supervisor., • Perform additional cleaning and maintenance tasks as assigned.Required Skills & Qualifications, • High School Diploma or GED., • Experience in janitorial or general labor roles., • Familiarity with cleaning equipment and sanitation procedures., • Ability to follow safety and conduct guidelines., • Strong attention to detail and reliability.Why Join Us?, • Supportive Environment: Work in a team-oriented, laid-back setting., • Skill Development: Enhance your cleaning and maintenance skills in a unique industry.
