The Licensed Behavioral Health Therapist will provide direct clinical services to children and families while also playing a central role in building the infrastructure, workflows, and program design of WonderLab's mental health program. As the program grows, so does this role. WonderLab is committed to developing this clinician into a clinical leader with real potential to grow into a supervisory or program leadership position as the behavioral health team expands. If you're a skilled therapist who also has the vision and drive to help shape a program, this is your seat at the table. This position begins as a part-time W2 employee (510 hours/week) during the credentialing period, with a focus on clinical infrastructure development (intake forms, policies, workflows, and program design). Upon completion of credentialing, the role transitions to full-time clinical practice. Compensation for the full-time role ranges from $80,000$110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and licensure. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Clinical Services: • Provide evidence-based individual, family, and group therapy to children and their caregivers., • Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans, • Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA and Medi-Cal requirements, • Collaborate with WonderLab's interdisciplinary team including physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, community health workers (CHWs), and support staff, • Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and clinical supervision as applicable, • Support families in navigating mental health systems, parenting children with special needs, community resources, and care coordination (in collaboration with CHWs)Program Development & Infrastructure (during credentialing period and ongoing):, • Collaborate with leadership to design and implement intake processes, clinical workflows, and program policies, • Assist in developing culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and neurodivergent affirming clinical protocols, • Contribute to program evaluation efforts including outcome tracking and data collection, • Help shape the vision and structure of WonderLab's growing behavioral health service line, • Identify opportunities to expand access and improve care delivery for underserved familiesGrowth and Leadership Opportunity This is WonderLab's first behavioral health hire. Minimum Qualifications • Active California licensure as an LCSW, LMFT, or Psychologist (Psy.D. or Ph.D.), • 25 years of experience working with children and families, • Demonstrated experience in family therapy as a core clinical modality, • Experience with Medi-Cal/IEHP billing and documentation requirements, • Strong clinical documentation skills, • Commitment to culturally responsive, neurodiversity affirming, trauma-informed, and family-centered care, • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a growing clinical environmentPreferred Qualifications, • Certified Play Therapist (CPT) or active pursuit of play therapy certification, • Bilingual Spanish/English (strongly preferred), • Training or certification in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) or equivalent, • Experience serving low-income and/or underserved communities in the Inland Empire, • Interest in clinical leadership, program development, or supervisionPosition Details, • Starting: Part-time, 510 hours/week during credentialing period (focus on program development), • Upon Credentialing: Transition to full-time clinical role, • Full-Time Salary Range: $80,000$110,000 annually, commensurate with experience, • Location: WonderLab Pediatric Clinic, Redlands, CA, • Schedule: To be determined based on program needs and candidate availability Flexible work from home options available.
