Job DescriptionBenefits: • 401(k) matching, • Dental insurance, • Health insurance, • Paid time off Key Responsibilities: • Channel Expansion & Onboarding: Identify, evaluate, and recruit new retail and wholesale partnersincluding major supermarket chains, category-specific retailers, mid-large distributors, trading companies, and other strategic partners., • Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with buyers and category managers, acting as the primary point of contact for all business matters., • Sales Enablement & Negotiation: Negotiate product listings, shelf space, promotions, and commercial terms; drive sell-in and sell-through performance., • Inventory & Forecast Coordination: Work closely with supply chain teams to ensure product availability, manage stocking levels, and align forecasts with partner demand., • Internal Coordination: Collaborate with sales, marketing, product, and logistics teams to address buyer feedback, market trends, and specific product requests., • Performance Analysis: Track channel sales performance, analyze KPIs, and recommend actionable strategies for improvement., • Event Participation: Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and retail networking forums to drive brand exposure and partnership opportunities.Qualifications & Skills, • Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus., • 5-10 years of experience in retail channel development, sales, or distribution managementpreferably within the U.S. market., • Established network and proven track record of working with major retail chains, wholesalers, and category buyers., • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills., • Data-driven mindset with ability to analyze sales data and channel performance metrics., • Excellent cross-functional collaboration and project management capabilities., • Familiarity with CRM tools, retail planning systems, and merchandising best practices., • Willingness to travel within the U.S. for buyer meetings, events, and trade shows.Preferred Qualifications, • Working on the brand side, with proven experience expanding products into consumer electronics, furniture, and/or outdoor channels, including retail, wholesale, and online marketplaces., • Working on the retailer/marketplace side, with previous experience as a Category Buyer or Account Manager in retail, wholesale, or online marketplaces, with a strong understanding of buyer decision-making processes and merchandising strategies., • Familiarity with major U.S. trade shows in these sectors (e.g., CES, High Point Market, Outdoor Retailer)
