Job Description PJ Metal Craft is seeking a hands-on team member who can support both workshop operations and metal fabrication. This role combines shop organization, equipment maintenance, material logistics, and fabrication support, while also assisting with CNC machinery, copper fabrication, and assembly of architectural metal products. The ideal candidate is organized, reliable, mechanically inclined, and willing to learn advanced fabrication techniques. This position plays an important role in keeping the workshop efficient, safe, and production-ready. Shop Location & Info • 1 Barry Place, Stamford, CT 06902, • Must be able to commute to the above address Build a long-term career fabricating architectural metalwork, learning valuable skills, and working on projects that last for generations: • Performance-based bonuses for strong results, • Hands-on training in architectural metal fabrication and installation, • Opportunity to learn multiple skills in both workshop fabrication and field installation, • Work on high-end architectural and historic projects, • Career growth opportunities within a growing company, • Organized and detail-oriented, • Mechanically inclined and comfortable with tools, • Willing to learn CNC and fabrication processes, • Reliable and proactive, • Able to lift materials and work in a fabrication environment Workshop Organization & Operations • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workshop environment, • Organize tools, materials, and fabrication areas, • Maintain and monitor workshop equipment and machinery, • Perform basic maintenance and upkeep of fabrication tools, • Pick up and deliver materials and supplies when required, • Load and unload materials safely, • Assist with material inventory and storage, • Coordinate deliveries and pickups for projects, • Assist fabricators with copper and metal fabrication projects, • Support cutting, bending, forming, and assembly of metal products, • Assist with architectural copper projects such as finials, dormers, and custom elements, • Assist with CNC machines and fabrication equipment, • Learn to operate and support precision metal cutting and forming processes, • Assist with assembly and finishing of architectural metal products, • Support special fabrication projects when needed, • Occasionally assist with project preparation or job site supportCompany DescriptionAre you a craftsperson who takes pride in precision and artistry?
