Position Summary The Social Media Growth and Community Manager role for Sloomoo Institute serves as the voice of the brand to consumers, influencers and advocates across the brand’s social media platforms, acting as a conduit to driving social content strategy and performance. You have an analytical mindset, a genuine understanding of brand marketing, integrated marketing, and trends in the landscape. You are interested in finding innovative ways to grow our social media presence and organic reach in line with our brand values and objectives while driving community engagement. The ideal candidate will be immersed in the digital landscape with an elevated understanding of how community driven content and two-way dialogs exponentially grow a brand’s awareness and connection to its target audience. You are a natural storyteller and tastemaker that brings enthusiasm, expertise, and organization to Sloomoo Institute’s social media processes. You will be key to upholding Sloomoo’s values: Innovation | Joy |Inclusivity |Resilience | Accountability Key Responsibilities: Social Media Growth * Drive best-in-class social media strategy across all existing channels, with an emphasis on Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and YouTube while building out emerging channels from launch strategy onward. * Establish KPIs and on-brand growth targets across platforms in tandem with marketing programs to maximize acquisition, engagement and retention. * Collaborate with Head of Marketing and Integrated Creative Manager to identify visual and tone of voice guidelines for brand’s social media vehicles in line with best practices and specific platform audiences to support all marketing initiatives. * Plan and execute highly engaging content as it relates to social-native programming, key marketing activations, evergreen content franchises, and editorial / cultural moments. * Partner with Creative team and content creators to execute high quality content that ignites our community and encourages virality. * Manage daily content calendar for all social media channels striving to continuously grow reach as well as engagement. * Leverage social media partnerships to acquire new audiences and reinforce brand ethos. * Uncover category-defining competitive technology, consumer insights and apply insights to grow Sloomoo Institute social media platforms. * Analyze monthly performance data in order to make informed on brand-growth recommendations, content ideas, influencer initiatives, collaboration partners, and more. * Act as Sloomoo Institute’s social media expert, proactively learning about new social media platforms, channel upgrades, news, then integrate into brand’s digital presence. * Partner with Customer Service as it pertains to reviews and online comments, driving reporting in unison. Community Engagement / Management * On-brand daily community management that excites, inspires, informs and creates trust between our brand and our growing community. * Including but not limited to posting, commenting and interacting with community, tastemakers, insiders, influencers, celebrities and brand partners. * Ensure comments and messages across social media receive responses. * Utilize brand guidelines and book to offer community management, and write social media replies. * Proactively monitor conversations around Sloomoo Institute, celebrating, sharing and reposting on-brand UGC. * Collaborate with Customer Service Team to support followers and consumers with venue and product-related questions. * Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: * 5+ years of experience specifically in social media and content for example building brand advocacy, social media campaigns, managing communities, content creation is a plus. * Experience with the creation, planning and publishing of content for all major social platforms. * Experience with social media analytics and scheduling tools. * Knowledge of best practices on social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok,YouTube, Pinterest). * BA/BS degree. * Bonus points * Experience working with influencer programs. * Graphic design i.e. Figma, Canva, Photoshop, After Effects and more.
