Job Description Summary: The Senior Accountant will manage a set of accounting activities to ensure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), corporate policies and external audits. This position will manage the accounts payable and/or receivable functions, monthly reconciliation of accounts, and preparation of financial statements. The Senior Accountant will analyze and reconcile accounts, develop, and implement accounting policies, procedures and controls. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: ● Responsible for preparing monthly and year-end close of financial reporting, ensuring all costs incurred are properly recorded, including accurate journal entries to record activity, maintaining the general ledger, and reconciling account balances for an assigned portfolio of residential rental properties. ● Responsible for cash control and bank reconciliations for portfolio properties. ● Review portfolio property vendor invoices and associated disbursements; help manage team members responsible for entering Accounts Payable (AP) / Accounts Receivable (AR) into Property Management Software Applications. ● Record and maintain escrows, replacement reserves, capital expenditures, depreciation, and equity contributions/distributions. ● Act as a resource and liaison to investment partners, lenders, third party service providers, and the internal residential management as needed. ● Oversee A/R and A/P functions. ● Provide detailed financial analysis and feedback of financial statements to include variances to the budget. ● Assist the Controller and Property Management teams in developing annual budgets, compilation of information for tax preparation, and preparation of monthly and year-end close of financial reporting. ● Participate in the ongoing development/establishment of accounting policies and procedures and operational strategies including the review and implementation of process and system changes. ● Complete all OneWall University courses by the required deadline. ● Perform other related duties as assigned. This role will handle the full cycle of accounts payable, from vendor set up to invoices to payment processing. Staff Accountant Job Duties: Prepares consolidated internal and external financial statements by gathering and analyzing information from the general ledger system and from departments.

Job Description The Staff Accountant is responsible for assisting in the maintenance of the financial records, general ledger postings, month-end reconciliations, and financial analysis. Manages various projects as requested by the Controller that improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the department.
