Essential Duties: • Review work orders and pull required parts from inventory., • Verify all parts, finishes, and paint meet quality plans and customer specifications., • Assemble components to ensure proper fit, alignment, and function., • Test assemblies with engineering support and document results., • Follow safety protocols when handling parts ranging from 1 lb. to several tons., • Meet standard assembly times and on-time delivery goals., • Install bearings using hydraulic presses, induction heaters, and hand tools., • Align direct and belt-drive systems., • Set proper bolt torque and clearances., • Uses cranes, hoists, and lifts safely., • Wire junction boxes and install small control panels as needed. Location: Fairfield, NJ Shift: 7:00am-5:30pm (Monday-Thursday) Pay: $24/hour ; Overtime: $36/hour (overtime availability on Fridays & Saturdays) Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Assembler to join our team. In this role, you will assemble components according to detailed drawings and operation sheets, ensuring precision and quality in every task. This position requires strong attention to detail, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. • Assemble components in accordance with drawings and operation sheets., • Perform weighing, loading, and pressing operations., • Handle tooling and fixtures and use various hand tools to produce or modify parts., • Maintain count and order progress by logging time and quantities., • Close and assemble units using crimping and closure tools and apply epoxy., • Perform soldering tasks, including small wire soldering, terminal soldering, and bridge wire welding., • Build and route wire harnesses, including cutting, stripping, crimping, and terminating wires according to specifications., • Inspect completed assemblies for quality and compliance with specifications., • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals., • Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety protocolFairJob Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fairfield, NJ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
