Job DescriptionSalary: $150,000 - $165,000 The Director, Enterprise Safety & Asset Protection leads the enterprise safety vision, strategy, and standards across all company locations. This role is responsible for protecting our people, strengthening operational resilience, and ensuring consistent, Grandma Quality safety performance through proactive risk management, compliance, and continuous improvement. Serving as a strategic partner to Operations and People Operations, the Director builds systems, accountability, and culture that embed a Safety-First mindset at every level- committing to craftsmanship in how we work, nurturing relationships through trust and shared responsibility, and honoring our heritage of taking care of our people. Key Responsibilities • Develop and lead the enterprise-wide safety strategy, standards, and roadmap aligned with business growth and operational priorities, • Establish clear policies, processes, and expectations that define what good looks like across all facilities, reflecting our commitment to Grandma Quality craftsmanship, • Use leading and lagging indicators to measure safety performance, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement, • Ensure full compliance with OSHA and all applicable regulatory requirements, • Standardize incident reporting, investigations, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to drive prevention-focused outcomes, • Lead enterprise risk assessments, hazard identification, and mitigation planning, • Establish safeguards, engineering controls, and PPE standards that protect employees and facilities, • Design and implement safety training and education programs for new hires, role changes, and ongoing development, • Build a behavior-based safety culture that nurtures relationships, promotes accountability, and empowers every employee to speak up and take ownership, • Champion Total Employee Involvement, reinforcing that safety is a shared responsibility and core part of how we care for one another, • Own enterprise emergency response and crisis management programs, including evacuation, active threat, and HAZMAT protocols, • Oversee physical security standards and controls across all locations, • Partner with IT and Operations to strengthen business continuity and resilience planning, • Lead, mentor, and develop a network of site-level safety leaders, • Partner closely with Operations and People Ops to integrate safety into daily leadership practices and operational decision-making, • Promote recognition and accountability systems that reinforce positive safety behaviors and sustained performance Qualifications • Bachelors degree in Occupational Safety, Risk Management, or related field, • 1015 years of progressive safety leadership experience, including multi-site manufacturing environments, • Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or equivalent strongly preferred, • Deep knowledge of OSHA and regulated manufacturing requirements, • Demonstrated success building proactive safety cultures and leading behavior-based safety programs, • Strong communicator and trusted partner able to influence at all levels, • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred Essential Physical Requirements • Ability to travel between all company facilities, • Ability to visually/physically inspect manufacturing environments including production floors, rooftops, and confined spaces, • Must be able to wear all required PPE and operate effectively in varying conditions (cold, heat, humidity, noise), • Occasional lifting (up to 35 lbs) and prolonged standing or walking required during audits and site assessments
