Learn more at Position Overview We are seeking a highly accomplished financial and operational leader to serve as MedCare’s Chief Operating Officer / Chief Financial Officer. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in healthcare finance, business operations, and strategic investment management. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires both strategic insight and operational rigor to drive sustainable growth and efficiency across all aspects of the organization. Article 28 Experience is required. Key Responsibilities · Strategic Financial Leadership · Develop and implement robust financial strategies that support growth, profitability, and long-term sustainability. · Partner closely with ownership to align financial objectives with organizational vision and priorities. Budgeting, Forecasting & Reporting · Lead annual budgeting and forecasting processes for business portfolios. · Deliver accurate, timely, and insightful financial reports and analyses to guide executive decision-making. · Ensure compliance with all applicable healthcare and financial regulations. Investment & Asset Management · Advise on investment strategies, asset allocation, and portfolio diversification for both business and personal ventures. · Identify new opportunities to optimize returns and mitigate financial risks. · Drive process improvements across financial operations, procurement, and administrative systems. · Oversee revenue cycle management, and operational budgets to enhance overall efficiency. Risk & Compliance Oversight Qualifications · 10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, preferably in healthcare or a related industry. · Article 28 healthcare facility experience · Proven track record in managing both business and personal financial portfolios. · Exceptional understanding of healthcare sector financials, including reimbursement, compliance, and risk management. · Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and investment analysis. · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders. · Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required, Master’s, CPA, or CFA highly preferred. · High integrity, discretion, and professionalism in handling confidential information. Job Description Who we are: We are a group of dedicated individuals whose goal is to provide care that is tailored to meet the specific needs of first responders, educators, county, municipal, and administrative workers. Through the Save My Life Program, frontline workers receive comprehensive and extensive testing so they can be at their healthiest when they are serving our communities. By using our program, essential workers and their families can have peace of mind by limiting the occupational risks in their essential positions Key Responsibilities: Clinical Duties- * Sterilize and prepare examination rooms, equipment, and instruments. * Prepare patients for examinations, including taking vital signs, recording medical histories, and updating patient records. * Explain treatment procedures, medications, diets, or physicians' instructions to patients. * Trained to conduct various tests on patients (subject to training on updated protocols). * Adhere to rotation schedule instructed by manager * Follow equipment protocols and handle all equipment with caution * Required to learn and conduct any new exams added into the program * Collect laboratory specimens, log forms, and prepare specimens to be dispersed by the end of the day for pickup * Other duties as assigned. Administrative Duties- * Trained to conduct administrative responsibilities upon rotation schedule * Greet patients, answer inquiries, and assist with check-in/check-out processes. * Maintain inventory and ensure clinical supplies are stocked. * Adhere to healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality * Uses an EMR system for scheduling and other needed tasks, such as billing and uploading of conducted test results * Maintain accurate and confidential electronic health records (EHR) for each patient. * Other duties as assigned Qualifications: * Active CCMA certification through an accredited organization * Active BLS Certification * Strong Organizational Skills * Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and be self-motivated * Direct and effective communication * Excellent interpersonal skills and customer service skills. * Adapt to daily environment * Strong analytical and problem solving skills * Excellent time management skills. * Strong bedside manner 7:30am-3:30pm Per Diem 8 hours per day
