Learn more at Position Overview We are seeking a highly accomplished financial and operational leader to serve as MedCare’s Chief Operating Officer / Chief Financial Officer. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in healthcare finance, business operations, and strategic investment management. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires both strategic insight and operational rigor to drive sustainable growth and efficiency across all aspects of the organization. Article 28 Experience is required. Key Responsibilities · Strategic Financial Leadership · Develop and implement robust financial strategies that support growth, profitability, and long-term sustainability. · Partner closely with ownership to align financial objectives with organizational vision and priorities. Budgeting, Forecasting & Reporting · Lead annual budgeting and forecasting processes for business portfolios. · Deliver accurate, timely, and insightful financial reports and analyses to guide executive decision-making. · Ensure compliance with all applicable healthcare and financial regulations. Investment & Asset Management · Advise on investment strategies, asset allocation, and portfolio diversification for both business and personal ventures. · Identify new opportunities to optimize returns and mitigate financial risks. · Drive process improvements across financial operations, procurement, and administrative systems. · Oversee revenue cycle management, and operational budgets to enhance overall efficiency. Risk & Compliance Oversight Qualifications · 10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, preferably in healthcare or a related industry. · Article 28 healthcare facility experience · Proven track record in managing both business and personal financial portfolios. · Exceptional understanding of healthcare sector financials, including reimbursement, compliance, and risk management. · Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and investment analysis. · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders. · Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required, Master’s, CPA, or CFA highly preferred. · High integrity, discretion, and professionalism in handling confidential information.
