Job Description & Requirements • Specialty: Ambulatory Care, • Discipline: RN, • Start Date: 12/08/2025, • Duration: 52 weeks, • 40 hours per week, • Shift: 8 hours, days, • Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse – Outpatient Department (Ambulatory Care) Location: Hopi Health Care Center, Hwy 264, Mile Marker 388, Polacca, AZ 86042 Pay and Benefits: • $38.50 per hour, • $57.75 overtime, • $500 travel allowance, • $1,533 weekly per diem, • $3,073 gross per week based on 40 hours Assignment Details: • 12-month base period with four optional 12-month extensions, • Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts (0800–1700), • Possible 10-hour shifts and additional coverage as needed Position Summary: Provide outpatient ambulatory nursing services to support continuity of care and reduce disruptions caused by staffing shortages. Deliver patient-focused care in a team-based environment while following HHCC standards, policies, and documentation requirements. Key Duties: • Execute provider orders including medications, treatments, and oxygen therapy, • Start IVs, access PICC lines and ports, and administer infusions, • Record vitals, monitor medication effects, and update patient records in EHR, • Manage adult and pediatric immunizations, • Provide emergency interventions and respond to adverse reactions, • Assist with lab specimen collection and quality control procedures, • Coordinate patient care and support multidisciplinary collaboration, • Answer and triage patient calls Qualifications: • Active, unrestricted RN license (any U.S. state or territory), • Minimum 2 years RN experience, including 1 year in ambulatory care, • Minimum 1 year IV infusion experience, • Graduate of an accredited nursing program, • BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (all required), • CGFNS certification for foreign-educated nurses Preferred Experience: • Prior IHS or tribal healthcare experience, • Experience with HIS systems and academic medical centers To Apply: Submit a complete profile including resume, total years in healthcare, ambulatory and infusion experience, all active licenses, and required certifications.
