Clinical Director – Multisite Outpatient Practice Location: Fayetteville, NC Employment Type: Full-Time | On-Site | Monday–Friday Schedule Travel: Up to 50% (within a 100-mile radius) About the Opportunity A high-growth outpatient practice specializing in neurology and psychiatry is seeking an experienced Clinical Director to lead day-to-day operations across multiple clinical sites in the region. This position is focused on task-oriented leadership, high-volume patient flow, and team optimization. The ideal candidate is a confident and compassionate leader who can function autonomously, evaluate operations, and guide teams with a high degree of emotional intelligence. This role is not about making sweeping changes on day one, instead, it’s a chance to embed within the team, learn the current structure, and thoughtfully drive improvements over time. Key Responsibilities • Lead daily operations for all clinical departments across multiple sites, • Manage, coach, and support nurses, medical assistants, EEG/EMG technicians, and other clinical staff, • Participate in new provider onboarding and clinical training, • Oversee staffing levels, time-off approvals, and scheduling compliance, • Support clinical documentation, compliance, OSHA/HIPAA adherence, and patient safety initiatives, • Monitor and optimize clinic throughput, schedule utilization, and workflow efficiency, • Serve as a liaison between front-line staff and executive leadership, • Assist in the de-escalation of patient issues and support clinic morale, • Actively participate in leadership meetings, clinic expansion planning, and cross-functional collaboration, • Provide 1:1 training, mentorship, and coaching as needed, • Contribute to future hiring and transition planning Qualifications • 5+ years of clinical operations leadership in an outpatient medical setting, preferably multisite, • Strong preference for RN, LPN, or allied health background, • Deep understanding of patient flow, high-volume clinic environments, and operational efficiency, • Hands-on leadership style; willing to dive in and support the team, • High EQ and strong interpersonal skills to build team rapport before implementing change, • Experience with EMRs (eCW preferred), Microsoft Office, and data-driven decision making, • Familiarity with HIPAA, OSHA, Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payers, • Ability to travel between sites as needed (up to 50% travel within local region) Why Join • Lead clinical operations for a growing provider-led group, • Full immersion and ramp-up period to learn before implementing change, • Competitive base salary: $85,000–$105,000, • Performance bonus: Up to 25% annually, • Excellent benefits package: 401k, health, dental, PTO, CME, licensing reimbursement, • Monday–Friday schedule | No nights, weekends, or on-call responsibility, • Opportunity to shape operational excellence and future leadership hires
