American Traveler is seeking a travel Radiology Technologist for a travel job in Tacoma, Washington. Job Description & Requirements • Specialty: Radiology Technologist, • Discipline: Allied Health Professional, • Start Date: 03/09/2026, • Duration: 13 weeks, • 40 hours per week, • Shift: 8 hours, evenings, • Work in an Imaging Services department equipped with 3 fluoroscopy rooms, 4 plain film rooms, 7 portables, 7 C-arms, and 1 O-ARM, • Cares for neonates, pediatrics, adults, and geriatric patients in inpatient, outpatient, ED, trauma, NICU, and OR settings, • Performs general X-ray, fluoroscopy (inpatient and outpatient), and surgical imaging including cross-table spine, cervical ortho, and all body parts, • Experience in portable imaging and knowledge of C-arm operation required, • Uses EPIC EMR (Radiant module), McKesson PACS, Digital Siemens x-ray, Shimadzu portable x-ray, and OEC C-arms, • Evening 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, • Requires 24 hours of weekend call per month, with a 30-minute onsite response time, • Floating required within all areas of the department as well as to an affiliated hospital, • Responsibilities include imaging in fluoroscopy, outpatient and inpatient radiology, ED, trauma, NICU, and OR, including patient transport as needed, • Hospital provides comprehensive orientation including training in fluoroscopy, OR, ED, and float roles, • Team is supported by RTs, hospitalists, and intensivists 24/7, • Weekend and holiday coverage required according to departmental needs, • Scrub color is flexible; no camo, denim, or hoodies permitted; hospital provides OR scrubs when working in the operating room, • Free parking is available in designated areas, • First-time travelers with acute care experience are accepted, • RTO requests must be directed to the radiology manager, • A sleep room is available for on-call staff with advance reservation\n \n Requirements\n, • 1-2 years of acute care radiology technologist experience required, • Experience with neonates, pediatrics, ICU, and trauma patients required, • BLS certification required, • ARRT or RCIS certification required, • Washington Radiology Technologist license required if applicable, • Epic EMR experience required, • Proficiency with McKesson PACS and digital x-ray equipment strongly preferred, • Portable imaging and C-arm operation required, • Must be able to work independently among other staff\n Benefits\n, • High Pay and Bonuses, • Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options, • 401(k) Plan, • Weekly Payroll Deposit, • Free Online CEUs, • Generous Housing Allowance, • Travel and Licensure Reimbursements, • Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy With thousands of travel nursing and allied jobs nationwide, our attentive and approachable recruiters find positions that align perfectly with your career aspirations and personal requirements.
