Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (11:00 - 23:00) Start Date: ASAP or 09/22/2025 Job Type: 20 week contract Openings: 2 Facility Snapshot: Facility Type: Acute Care Staffed Beds: 643 Charting: Epic Scrubs: Green or teal Position Summary: Sensitive Unit: Candidates must thoroughly review the unit/job description to ensure full understanding and compliance. Hard Stop: Minimum of 3 years of Operating Room experience prior to travel, with mandatory experience in Neurology, Transplant, General Surgery, Gynecology (GYN), and Orthopedics. Unit Details: The Operating Room supports diverse service lines, including Bariatrics, Urology, Neurology, ENT, Oral, Plastics, Transplant, Ophthalmology, General Surgery, GYN, and Orthopedics. Schedule: Weekend: Every other weekend. Call: Variable, details to be discussed during the interview. Floating: Candidates may be required to float within the facility and scope of practice, including to Outpatient areas as needed. Minimum Experience: 3 years of OR experience. First-time travelers are accepted. Clinical Screen: Candidates will undergo a clinical review to assess fit. If they pass and meet Piedmont guidelines, they will be sent to the manager for final approval. Screens are conducted on a case-by-case basis. RTO (Requested Time Off): Maximum of 7 days. Compliance: Full compliance is required to start on time. Non-compliance will result in a 2-week delay due to the bi-weekly orientation schedule. Locals: Accepted at the same rate as travelers. Key Candidate Considerations: Be prepared for a variable call schedule, which will be clarified during the interview. Ensure flexibility for floating within the facility, including to Outpatient areas. Familiarize yourself with all service lines (Bariatrics, Urology, Neurology, ENT, Oral, Plastics, Transplant, Ophthalmology, General Surgery, GYN, and Orthopedics) to confirm competency.
