Position Summary The Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) is seeking an experienced and strategic Vice President, Strategy to play a pivotal role in shaping the newly formed Strategy division. Reporting directly to the Chief Strategy Officer, this position will lead the creation and ongoing refinement of an innovative in-house agency model, drive strategic planning, and ensure effective execution of critical initiatives, particularly those focused on 2026 activations. The ideal candidate is a visionary leader with a track record of driving non-aeronautical revenue growth, improving stakeholder satisfaction, and fostering a culture of continuous innovation and agility. Essential Functions PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Strategic Leadership & Development • Provide strategic direction and oversight to direct reports, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives., • Lead strategic planning processes, establish clear objectives, define performance metrics, and leverage analytics to guide decision-making., • Develop and maintain strong cross-functional relationships with senior leadership across Operations, Finance, HR, Capital Development, and IT., • Drive initiatives focused on increasing non-aeronautical revenue and enhancing internal client satisfaction., • Promote a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and agility within the Strategy division., • Strategic thinker with exceptional analytical capabilities, • Strong leadership and coaching skills, capable of motivating and developing high-performing teams, • Proven ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships effectively, • Highly agile, able to quickly adapt to evolving priorities and operational challenges, • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skillsQualifications, • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (Master’s degree preferred), • Minimum 10+ years of strategic leadership experience, ideally within an in-house agency or strategic planning environment, • Proven experience managing and developing large teams with a coaching and collaborative approach, • Demonstrated success in revenue growth initiatives, stakeholder relationship management, and data-driven decision-making, • Experience driving organizational change and implementing innovative processes and structures, • Must pass and maintain SIDA (Security Identification Display Area) at the time of appointment and during tenure of employment.
