Key Responsibilities: • Support the Nurse Manager and Assistant Nurse Manager in ensuring safe, high-quality patient care and adherence to policies and performance standards., • Serve as a role model, demonstrating leadership, coaching, mentoring, and problem-solving skills., • Implement and monitor unit-based quality and performance improvement initiatives., • Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to ensure age-appropriate, evidence-based care., • Participate clinically in patient care as needed to ensure safe and optimal outcomes., • Maintain unit-based staffing and resources within budgetary guidelines., • Ensure staff participation in continuing education, shared governance, annual competencies, and adherence to policies., • Contribute to committees, task forces, or projects as assigned., • Maintain a safe patient care environment and comply with accrediting and regulatory agency standards., • Demonstrate excellent customer service, including patient rounding and monitoring patient satisfaction., • Act as a positive change agent and support organization-wide initiatives.
