About NY Mental Health Center NY Mental Health Center (NYMHC) is a fast-growing mental health practice providing psychotherapy and psychiatry services to adults across New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania through telehealth. Our team includes experienced psychologists, psychiatrists, and therapists who are committed to providing high-quality, compassionate care. Just as importantly, we believe the experience a client has before their first appointment matters. Our intake team plays a major role in making that experience a positive one. Position Overview The Mental Health Intake Coordinator is the most important front-line role at NY Mental Health Center. You will often be the first person a prospective client speaks with when they reach out for help. This is a highly interactive, phone-based position for someone who is comfortable talking to people throughout the day, building rapport quickly, answering questions, following up consistently, and helping prospective clients take the next step toward care. This is not a traditional back-office healthcare administrative position. Success in this role requires energy, confidence on the phone, persistence, organization, and a willingness to proactively reach out to people rather than waiting for them to call back. Many of our strongest Intake Coordinators have backgrounds in customer service, customer support, patient support, hospitality, telesales, inside sales, call centers, recruiting, or other high-volume client-facing roles. What You’ll Do A large part of your day will be spent communicating directly with prospective and existing clients by phone, text, and email. The Food Service Assistant supports the daily operations of PRIMMA's in-house café by assisting with food preparation, food service, inventory replenishment, cleanliness, and customer service while helping maintain a welcoming, safe, and efficient environment for employees and guests Essential Duties & Responsibilities: • Assist with daily food and beverage preparation, including sandwiches, salads, snacks, and coffee service., • Set up and maintain the café service area throughout the day, ensuring food and beverage items are fresh, properly stocked, and attractively presented., • Provide friendly, professional, and customer-focused service to employees, visitors, and guests., • Assist with restocking food, beverages, paper products, and café supplies throughout the day., • Assist with receiving, inspecting, unpacking, and properly storing food, beverage, and supply deliveries., • Notify the Food Service Coordinator of inventory shortages, product concerns, damaged goods, or supply needs., • Support company meetings, training sessions, and special events through setup, service, replenishment, and cleanup of food and beverage offerings, • Maintain cleanliness and organization of café, kitchen, serving, dining, storage, and food preparation areas., • Wash dishes, utensils, equipment, and food preparation items in accordance with health and safety standards., • Follow established food safety, sanitation, hygiene, and workplace safety procedures at all times., • Conduct routine checks to ensure food quality, freshness, proper product rotation, and overall cleanliness standards are maintained., • Assist with monitoring expiration dates and rotating inventory using established food safety practices., • Collaborate with the Food Service Coordinator and other team members to ensure efficient daily operations and exceptional customer service., • Promptly communicate maintenance, equipment, supply, food quality, or customer service concerns to the Food Service Coordinator, • Follow all company policies and procedures related to food service operations, safety, and customer service., • Other duties as assigned. Education & Qualifications: • One to three years of experience in food service, café operations, hospitality, catering, or a related customer service environment preferred., • High school diploma or equivalent required, • Nassau County Food Manager certification required within the first 3-6 months of employment, • Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional attitude., • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment., • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness, organization, and food safety standards., • Ability to multitask and perform efficiently in a fast-paced environment., • Ability to communicate effectively with employees, guests, vendors, and coworkers, • Basic understanding of food handling, food safety, sanitation, and hygiene procedures., • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods., • Ability to lift and move supplies, food products, and equipment up to 35 pounds, • Comfort working in kitchen, storage, and food service environments with varying temperatures.
