The ideal candidate will provide top-quality perioperative care, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout surgical procedures. \n\n Key Responsibilities: \n\n • Provide expert nursing care to surgical patients in the OR environment.\n, • Assist surgeons and surgical teams during various procedures, including cardiac, neuro, thoracic, orthopedic, and vascular surgeries.\n, • Maintain sterile techniques and ensure adherence to OR protocols.\n, • Monitor patient vitals and respond promptly to any complications.\n, • Document all patient interactions and procedures accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR).\n, • Prepare and organize surgical instruments and supplies.\n, • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.\n, • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.\n, • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.\n, • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred, especially for cardiac and neuro cases.\n, • Proven experience in perioperative nursing, specifically in cardiac, neuro, thoracic, orthopedic, and vascular surgeries.\n, • Strong understanding of sterile techniques and surgical protocols.\n, • Excellent critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.\n, • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities in a fast-paced OR setting.\n, • Completion of an accredited RN nursing program.\n, • Minimum of 2 years of recent OR nursing experience, with significant involvement in cardiac, neuro, thoracic, ortho, and vascular surgeries.\n, • May require occasional on-call shifts.\n, • Candidates must be local (please refer to the list of ineligible counties).\n, • EMR system to be used: Not specified.\n, • Dress code: Scrubs per facility policy.\n, • Parking: Not specified.\n Excite Health Partners Job ID #191077.
