Job Description & Requirements • Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab, • Discipline: RN, • Start Date: 04/14/2026, • Duration: 13 weeks, • 36 hours per week, • Shift: 12 hours, days, • Employment Type: Travel Assignment Overview • Shift: Days, 3x12hrs, • Hours: 36 hrs/wk, • Start Date: Apr 14, 2026, • Length: 13 weeks, • Acute care hospital setting in a 3-room Cardiac Cath Lab, • High-acuity diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath cases, including TAVR, MitraClip, and peripheral vascular procedures, • Facility is a chest pain center-accredited STEMI tertiary referral center, • Specialized equipment includes Rotablator, IVUS, Shockwave, Impella, and Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump, • EMR: Cerner; Merge Hemodynamics used for Cath Lab documentation, • Cath Lab is supported by CV Techs or Rad Techs with Cath Lab experience, • Approximately 3,000 cases per year, • 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM, three shifts per week, • Call required: one night per week and up to every other weekend, • Weekend coverage required up to every other weekendRequirements, • Active CA RN license required; must be active at time of consideration — pending licenses not accepted, • Current BLS and ACLS certifications required; pending certifications not accepted, • NIHSS certification required, • Minimum 2 years of RN experience required, • Cardiac Cath Lab experience required, • Scrub experience in the Cath Lab is highly preferred, • Active driver's license required for consideration, • Two professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months worked, and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years worked, including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire, • Candidates must not have been directly employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity-affiliated facility within the past year — candidates employed PRN through outside firms will be consideredAdditional Information, • Scrubs are provided by the facility, • Radiation badge is required and supplied by the agency, • Facility orientation consists of 2 shifts, • A Relias Dysrhythmia exam (basic or advanced) must be passed before an offer can be confirmed; candidates have two attempts, • A pass/fail sterile technique test for Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes is administered on the first day of orientation, • Candidates must permanently reside at least 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates; driver's license is used to verify permanent address With thousands of travel nursing and allied jobs nationwide, our attentive and approachable recruiters find positions that align perfectly with your career aspirations and personal requirements.
