Job Description JOB DEFINITION: The Peer Specialist functions as a member function as a member of the Street Outreach Team to serve individuals experiencing homelessness located in and around Long Island Railroad (LIRR) stations across Nassau County. Advocates for and supports the client, engages with community agencies/health care. Peer Specialist will serve as a role model and/or health coach for clients. EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: High School Diplomas or GED. Job Description JOB DEFINITION: The Certified Recovery Peer Advocate I (CRPA I) functions as a member of an individual's treatment team to assist with the outreach, support and coordination of care for eligible service recipients.
