Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) to provide comprehensive reproductive and obstetric care in a dynamic healthcare setting. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in primary care, obstetrics, and gynecology, with the ability to deliver compassionate patient-centered services. As a Certified Nurse Midwife, you will play a vital role in supporting women through pregnancy, labor, delivery, and postpartum care while also managing routine gynecological health needs. Duties • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations, vital signs, and medical history reviews., • Manage prenatal visits, labor and delivery support, and postpartum care with expertise in obstetric procedures., • Perform medical procedures such as suturing, IV insertion, specimen collection and processing, and administering injections., • Provide family planning counseling and perform contraceptive management aligned with patient needs., • Utilize ultrasound technology (sonography) for fetal monitoring and diagnostic purposes., • Document all patient interactions accurately within electronic health record (EHR) systems while adhering to HIPAA regulations., • Develop individualized care plans based on physiology knowledge, anatomy understanding, and medical terminology., • Monitor patient progress during inpatient and outpatient visits, ensuring safety and quality standards are maintained according to NCQA standards., • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals in acute care settings such as NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit) when necessary., • Valid certification as a Nurse Midwife from an accredited program; current licensure required., • Proven experience in hospital or outpatient settings with expertise in obstetrics, gynecology, or related fields., • Proficiency in medical documentation, CPT coding (Current Procedural Terminology), ICD coding (International Classification of Diseases), and EMR/EHR systems., • Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and patient assessment techniques., • Experience performing suturing, venipuncture, specimen collection/processing, medication administration, and pain management., • Familiarity with inpatient care protocols including labor & delivery procedures and NICU experience preferred., • Excellent patient care skills with the ability to manage complex cases involving acute or chronic conditions., • Knowledge of HIPAA compliance standards along with medical records management practices., • 401(k), • Flexible schedule, • Health insurance, • Paid time off Work Location: In person
