Job Description Job Description: Cornetta Bros. Plumbing and Heating is seeking an experienced Service Technician with boiler experience for their Elmont, NY location. The ideal candidate will already have relevant work experience and be able to perform repair/maintenance work in a thorough and accurate manner. Up to $5,000 sign on bonus for experienced Technicians Summary: Established in 1946 Cornetta Bros. Plumbing and Heating is a family operated business located in Elmont, NY. Responsibilities: • Services all gas boiler equipment according to an established service schedule, and company standards and within acceptable time frames as well as troubleshoot and rectify potential problems on location., • Interact with homeowners to educate, build relationships, and understand and address their heating concerns., • Documents legibly and accurately all work completed according to company policy and submits on a daily basis., • Builds and maintains customer relations in the field to ensure excellent customer service and enhance the company's image., • Follows all safety procedures, including following all safe driving habits and not utilizing mobile devices in vehicles., • Applies knowledge of products and seeks additional training/education as appropriate. Job Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent required, • EPA – Universal Certification preferred, • Valid driver’s license / clean driving record, • OSHA 10-hour Construction Course preferred, • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds, • 2-5 years of boiler Experience Competencies: • Excellent written, verbal, and active listening skills, • Exceptional customer service skills, • Technical knowledge, • Strong organizational skills, • Ability to work individually and as part of a team, • Customer focused, • Problem-solving skills What can we offer you? • Competitive High Base Salary, • Paid Personal Days, • Paid Holidays, • 401k Plan, • On-the-job training The starting hourly base wage for this position is $35-$45.
