The Human Resources Coordinator supports the daily operations of the HR department and serves as a primary point of contact for onboarding, recruitment coordination and employee documentation. This role manages onboarding for all new hires, including the high volume of seasonal staff hired for Summer Camp, ensuring required documents and HRIS entries are completed accurately and on time. The HR Coordinator also maintains compliant employee records, assists employees with HR process questions and supports recruitment efforts through job postings, applicant tracking and interview coordination. This is a hands-on role with training provided and strong opportunities for growth within the HR field. PURPOSE: The Jewish Board's Community Behavioral Health treatment programs provide compassionate, high quality, evidence-based services to individuals and families in the communities we serve. Our staff use a culturally affirming, person centered approach to help individuals and their families develop skills and resources to improve overall functioning, to instill hope, and to strengthen resiliency. Our programs work closely with community partners to address health disparities in our neighborhoods while also celebrating the strengths and resilience of our communities. POSITION OVERVIEW: This position provides clinical services as part of an OMH licensed outpatient mental health clinic/ CCBHC location, interventions include, but are not limited to, evaluations; individual, group and/or family therapy; case management; and crisis interventions. Must live within the United States and have a valid NYS State Licensed. KEY ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: - Conduct comprehensive evaluations/ intakes as required. - Develop treatment plans in collaboration with clients to identify treatment needs and interventions and review/revise treatment plans to reflect client's treatment progress and changing problems/goals. - Provide individual, group, family, and crisis interventions. - Liaise with families, schools, criminal justice, and other community agencies to coordinate care. - Provide linkages as driven by screenings and client identified needs to embedded care coordination, SUD services, nursing, psychiatric and medical services. - Participate in clinical meetings, staff meetings, trainings, and supervision. - Maintain all documentation according to the standards and time limits established by the Jewish Board, regulatory agencies, and/or funding sources. - Maintain professional behaviors and ethical standards as established by licensing board, relevant professional association and the Jewish Board policies and procedures. - Paid required participation agency training in evidenced based models (such as CBT/MI) applicable to continuing education credit requirements. - Other duties as assigned. Job Description JOB SUMMARY You will collaborate with the Day Habilitation Program Director and participants to develop and implement a daily schedule. ABOUT YOU You will assist participants with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and treat all participants respectfully at all times. Reporting to the Residential Manager and delivering milieu services in the trauma-informed modified therapeutic community, the Motivational Enhancement Counselors will monitor the residential systems and deliver behavioral interventions to the residents for the 100 bed, OASAS licensed residential treatment facility. They will work in an integrated fashion with other clinical program staff to provide effective individualized services and interventions that meet the treatment plan goals and objectives for residents. They will provide a safe haven in which our resident patients may confront their behavior, learn how to utilize their strengths to deal with the many problems related to chemical dependency, and develop the skills necessary to allow them to function as valuable members of the community without the use of drugs or alcohol. Job Description New Town Day Camp (NTDC) at the 14th Street Y, a vibrant Jewish community center in the East Village, provides a fun and safe environment where children can celebrate summer, make new friends, and enjoy enriching activities. Our campers explore and play in the 14Y’s excellent facilities, including a heated indoor pool, gymnasium, and well-equipped, air-conditioned classrooms. The Central Intake Licensed Clinician will provide direct intake and admissions services for individuals seeking treatment who have substance use disorders for the residential and outpatient treatment programs of the Center for Recovery and Wellness. Provide practical guidance and support to the Intake Team and interns. Assist the Director and Clinical Directors in day-to-day admissions operations. They will work in an integrated fashion with other clinical program staff to provide effective individualized services and interventions that meet the treatment plan goals and objectives for residents. They will provide a safe haven in which our resident patients may confront their behavior, learn how to utilize their strengths to deal with the many problems related to chemical dependency, and develop the skills necessary to allow them to function as valuable members of the community without the use of drugs or alcohol. The plans should reflect the Department of Education’s required curriculum and NYS standards, • These plans should be aligned with the program’s educational philosophy, the children’s interests, and group and individual learning goals., • Provide and implement well planned daily activities that encompass using a multitude of learning opportunities in all centers of the classroom., • Assess children’s learning through planned portfolios, written assessments, and informal and formal observations utilizing Creative Curriculum and Teaching Strategies Gold., • Maintain all records, files and paperwork. Prepare classroom newsletters., • Assist in planning school wide events and PBIS guidelines., • Establish and maintain professional communication with parents keeping them informed of their child’s progress, activities, and needs. The Weinberg Center for Balanced Living (WCBL) is an innovative Older Adult Center serving adults ages 60 and older, whose primary languages include English, Cantonese, Mandarin, Spanish, and Russian. Integrated into EA’s Manny Cantor Center (MCC) and funded by the New York City Department for the Aging (NYC Aging), WCBL offers a holistic program designed to meet the varied needs, abilities, and interests of older adults. WCBL’s programs make it a premier destination for older New Yorkers, supporting physical and nutritional health, artistic development, cultural and social engagement, and providing critical social services that help members age in place with dignity. We are seeking an experienced Advanced Senior Social Worker Supervisor, LCSW, who will play a key role on an interdisciplinary team supporting the holistic wellness of older adults. The Advanced Senior Social Worker Supervisor will maintain a caseload of older adult clients from WCBL and EA 202 Housing (Podell and Alliance Apartments). Assist clients with a range of complex issues related to aging: facilitate client-led goal setting and attainment; provide concrete case assistance, strategic referrals, and routine follow-up; and provide psychoeducation, advocacy, and supportive contact. Coordinate and/or develop and facilitate regular group workshops for clients to address shared needs and promote community well-being. RESPONSIBILITIES • Provide onsite task supervision to the WCBL social services team., • Participate in case conferences and/or group supervision., • Appropriately assign cases to WCBL social services staff and interns., • Maintain a caseload of older adult clients: conduct intakes and comprehensive assessments of clients’ strengths, needs, and challenges; formulate ongoing care plans and recommend appropriate intervention strategies; and routinely follow-up., • Provide case assistance, assisting clients to obtain concrete services, such as completion of applications/renewals for housing and benefits and entitlements; and complete related forms in the NYC Aging electronic record., • Make strategic referrals and advocate for service type, frequency, and intensity., • Provide supportive contact to help clients address challenges with daily living., • Facilitate or co-facilitate relevant psychosocial, psychoeducational, and/or mental health workshops and/or group series for community members., • Maintain documentation following funder’s prescribed format and time guidelines: update client information and enter supervisory case review notes, client case notes, and units in electronic record; and complete case review, case assistance, and information and referral logs., • Work collaboratively as part of the Older Adult Programs team, providing office and meal program support when needed, participating in the organizing and executing of WCBL events, and coordinating workshops and events at EA’s 202 Housing., • Coordinate with internal partners and external agencies to ensure best care for clients and provide professional development opportunities for staff., • Attend supervisory, program, agency, and community meetings as required., • Provide or ensure access to interpretation and translation services for clients., • Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor(s) and/or WCBL director. QUALIFICATIONS • LCSW is required, • At least 2 years of supervisory experience is required., • SIFI-certified or SIFI-eligible and willingness to pursue SIFI is required., • Bilingual (English/Cantonese or English/Spanish) strongly preferred., • Familiar with local resources and referrals, city/state/federal entitlements., • Knowledgeable and enthusiastic about working with older adults., • Knowledgeable about age-related neurological changes; comfortable engaging clients exhibiting mental health symptoms and/or cognitive changes required., • Attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, and effectively coordinate a comprehensive array of services to address the multiple needs of clients., • Ability to take initiative and work independently., • Demonstrate astute judgement in prioritization and time management skills., • Ability to maintain confidentiality of records and information., • Must have outstanding verbal and written communication skills., • Knowledge of MS Office *, • Willing and able to travel between Lower East Side/East Village sites., • Willing and able to work seldom weekend days and evenings for special events or NYC Aging-mandated Cooling Center days.
