From keeping common areas tidy to supporting the maintenance team with curb appeal, your work directly impacts the resident experience. Many of our maintenance team members started as porters and advanced from there. What You’ll Do • Maintain cleanliness of community grounds, sidewalks, parking areas, and trash enclosures, • Clean and maintain breezeways, entryways, stairwells, and common areas, • Pressure wash buildings, entryways, and walkways as needed, • Remove trash and debris from grounds, dumpster areas, and bulk trash zones, • Monitor and empty trash receptacles throughout the property, • Assist with light maintenance tasks as directed (painting, minor repairs, curb appeal projects) Required: • Strong work ethic and attention to detail, • Ability to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions, • Comfortable working independently and with a team, • Previous experience in groundskeeping, janitorial, or general labor, • Bilingual abilities, • Commission opportunities based on performance, • 14 Paid Holidays (including CAF Impact Day), • PTO based on tenure:, • 0–4 years: 15 days, • 5–9 years: 20 days, • 10–14 years: 25 days, • 15+ years: 30 days, • 3 Flex Days per year, • Medical, Dental & Vision (employee medical starts at $65/month), • 401(k) + Roth IRA with company contributions (after 6 months), • Paid Parental Leave (10 days), • 30–50% Employee Housing Discount (after 30 days, if applicable) Ready to take the next step with CAF? Physical Requirements This role requires frequent outdoor work and ongoing movement throughout the property. Team members must be able to safely perform the following tasks: • On your feet: 75% to 100% of the time, • Physical activities (75% to 100%):, • Bend/stoop/squat/kneel (e.g., collecting debris, moving items), • Climb stairs and walk grounds regularly, • Push/pull, stand, and walk (e.g., trash removal, light equipment use), • Reach above shoulders (e.g., cleaning, storing supplies), • Grasp/grip/turn and use finger dexterity (e.g., handling tools, hoses, power washers), • Lifting/Carrying:, • Over 50 lbs: Occasional need (10% to 25%), • 10–25 lbs: Frequent need (25% to 75%), • Under 10 lbs: Frequent need (75% to 100%) Requirements:
