In this full-time Sleep Tech role, you'll perform overnight sleep studies, support accurate diagnosis of sleep disorders, and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. Your expertise in PSG, PAP titration, and data analysis will directly impact patient health outcomes every night. Why You'll Love This Role * Up to $25,000 sign-on bonus for qualified technologists * Competitive salary range: $61,360 – $80,030 annually * Work with advanced sleep study technology in a respected clinical setting * Opportunities for professional growth and certification support * Make a meaningful difference in patients' long-term health Your Day-to-Day Patient Setup & Education * Collect and assess medical, emotional, and social history relevant to testing * Educate patients on procedures before, during, and after their sleep study * Prepare, calibrate, and apply electrodes and sensors for accurate data capture * Fit PAP masks and troubleshoot mask-related concerns Conducting Sleep Studies * Administer PSG, MSLT, MWT, PAP titrations, and oxygen studies * Monitor signals and adjust equipment for artifact-free recordings * Document clinical events, behaviors, and protocol deviations * Provide age-appropriate care across the lifespan Data Analysis & Reporting * Score sleep stages and clinical events according to standardized guidelines * Generate detailed, actionable reports for physician interpretation Compliance, Equipment & Safety * Maintain and calibrate sleep lab equipment * Follow infection control and safety procedures (Exposure Category I) * Support quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives * Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and team members What We're Looking For * Associate degree or higher in Polysomnography, Respiratory Therapy, or Nursing * Eligible for or currently hold RPSGT certification (within 18 months of hire) * Valid New York State license as a Respiratory Therapist, Respiratory Technician, or Polysomnographic Technologist * BLS certification within 90 days of hire; ACLS preferred * Ability to stand, reach, climb, and lift up to 50 lbs * Strong manual dexterity, vision, and hearing for technical procedures Why Choose Elmira, NY?
