    Döner Haus is growing fast, and we're looking for reliable, hardworking Grill/Line Cooks to join our team. Locations: East Village, Hell's Kitchen and Astoria This is a fast-paced kitchen environment where you'll be working with grills, open-flame ovens and gyro machines. Previous grill experience is strongly preferred. REQUIREMENTS • Experience working as a Grill Cook, Line Cook, or similar kitchen position, • Comfortable working in a hot, fast-paced environment, • Able to lift and carry up to 65 lbs, • Able to stand for extended periods, • Available to work days, nights, weekends, and closing shifts, • Must be available to work weekends and shifts ending as late as 3:00 AM, • English and Spanish (required), • NYC Food Handler's Certificate (required) RESPONSIBILITIES • Prepare and cook food according to Döner Haus standards, • Operate grills, gyro machines, and other kitchen equipment safely, • Keep workstations clean, organized, and fully stocked, • Follow food safety and sanitation procedures, • Assist with inventory rotation and product storage, • Report equipment or safety issues immediately, • Work efficiently during busy service periods WHAT WE OFFER • Flexible scheduling, • Growth opportunities within a rapidly expanding company, • Fun, energetic team environment, • Training and development opportunities, • Starting at $17.00/hour, with opportunities to earn up to $20.00/hour based on experience, performance and successful completion of the training period Döner Haus is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
