Our well-respected group has been providing services for 14 years and currently has 35 NP's on the team. The NP's are supported by our 2 psychiatrists. Experienced clinicians can have relative autonomy if you are comfortable with the patients & geriatric psychopharmacology. New employees / new graduates have tremendous support by our clinical staff and rounding & collaboration directly w/our senior clinical staff. We are collaborators in real life, not just on paper. Position Overview We focus on psychiatric medication management and supportive psychotherapy. Your role would be to complete initial evaluations & follow up visits onsite at the facilities that we take care of. We generally treat depression, anxiety, cognitive disorders, and dementia w/behavioral issues. You would have a tremendous amount of support from the medical staff, with direct collaboration on any case that you needed assistance or additional input on. As I mentioned, you will have extensive clinical support (direct collaboration) but also administrative support - so you can focus on patient care. This position is perfect for someone who is motivated, self-directed, and prefers not to sit in the same office day after day.
