Job DescriptionWe’re looking for a Marketing Manager for our swimwear client —someone who will understand the distinct identity of their brand, works within its guidelines, and drives thoughtful planning and strong execution to ensure the brand identity and ethos is protected.This role partners closely with all departments—E-Comm, Wholesale, Product/Design, PR/Influencer, and Operations—to ensure every campaign, product story, and customer touchpoint aligns with one unified brand narrative. They connect the dots across marketing channels, create and manage the marketing calendar, and lead the cross-functional coordination required to execute campaigns smoothly, cohesively, and at a high standard. Responsibilities1. Own the Brand + Customer Narrative Lead and safeguard the brand’s voice, visual identity, and positioning across all channels through disciplined adherence to the defined brand guidelines. Ensure a seamless and consistent brand experience across DTC, wholesale, retail partners, and marketing touchpoints. Serve as the brand steward, ensuring all content and campaigns reflect core values, the distinct brand identity, are built from an understanding of our core consumer, and support our long-term brand objectives. 2. Lead Campaign + Content Planning (Across Seasons, Collections, and Channels) Own the master marketing calendar, collaborating with channel leaders on marketing channel sequencing, timing, and campaign planning. Lead seasonal, quarterly, and monthly campaign strategy, ensuring alignment with product development, drop cadence, inventory flow, and business priorities. Build campaign concepts grounded in seasonality, product stories, collection narratives, and customer insights. Oversee end-to-end content planning and production, including photoshoot direction & production, creative briefs, copy briefs, asset needs, and cross-channel rollout plans. Ensure cohesive campaign execution across email, SMS, social, site, wholesale partners, and PR/influencer initiatives. Produce and refine all marketing content, copy, and messaging to uphold brand voice and strategy. Direct organic social strategy and ensure the Social Media Manager’s execution reflects brand identity and standards. 3. Lead Wholesale Marketing Serve as the primary marketing partner to Wholesale, owning the budget and guiding how the brand shows up at retail through storytelling, seasonal assets, education, and retailer-facing toolkits. The wholesale responsibilities include the acquisition of new accounts (tradeshows, Joor, outreach), retention of existing accounts (tradeshows, Joor, email, driving sell-through at retail), and the basics of catalog and line sheet production. Develop retailer-specific deliverables, including campaign decks, line previews, lookbooks, POP, GWP programs, co-op plans, and in-store support materials. Ensure wholesale marketing remains tightly aligned with seasonal campaigns, DTC initiatives, and product storylines—mirroring the same strategic partnership established with E-Comm. 4. Cross-Functional Leadership Partner closely across the organization to ensure one unified GTM plan: E-Comm: Campaign planning, email planning, channel needs (email, social, digital, affiliate), onsite strategy, content flow, and campaign execution alignment. Wholesale: wholesale calendar, co-op marketing, key account support, and retail storytelling as well as support and collaborate on the management of tradeshows. PR/Influencer: ensure seasonal messaging, sample needs, and press moments reinforce campaign direction. Product/Design: collaborate early to shape seasonal product narratives, print stories, naming, and hero item positioning. Ops/Warehouse: align campaign timing with deliveries and product availability. 6. Budget Ownership & Performance Create, own and execute the full marketing budget and calendar across shoots, campaigns, co-op, PR, influencer, paid media allocations (in partnership with E-Comm), and agencies. Deliver clear, consistent reporting on campaign performance, key drivers, and actionable insights. 7. Team Leadership Manage the Social Media Manager with clear direction, creative feedback, prioritization, and mentorship. Champion the loyalty architecture model and ensure all communication ladders up to one coherent strategy. Qualifications • 7+ years of marketing experience, preferably within fashion, apparel, or consumer brands across DTC and wholesale channels., • Proven ability to steward a brand with strong attention to detail, ensuring consistent voice, visual identity, and storytelling across all consumer and retailer touchpoints., • Demonstrated experience leading seasonal and multi-channel campaign planning and execution from concept through launch, including photoshoots, content development, creative briefs, and asset production., • Strong cross-functional leadership skills with the ability to partner effectively across E-Comm, Wholesale, Product/Design, PR/Influencer, and Operations teams to align on GTM plans and calendars., • Hands-on experience developing wholesale marketing programs, including tradeshows, JOOR, retailer toolkits, line sheets, lookbooks, POP, and co-op initiatives that drive both account acquisition and sell-through., • Deep understanding of integrated marketing channels including email, SMS, organic social, site content, influencer, PR, and retail support, with the ability to ensure cohesive execution across platforms., • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage complex timelines, calendars, budgets, and deliverables across multiple initiatives simultaneously., • Experience owning and managing marketing budgets, agency relationships, and production costs, with an ability to evaluate ROI and performance outcomes., • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including brand copy development, creative briefing, presentations, and cross-departmental alignment., • Experience managing and mentoring junior team members, providing clear direction, feedback, and development support., • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and execution-focused with a balance of strategic thinking and hands-on problem solving., • Adaptable, collaborative leader who thrives in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments and is comfortable wearing multiple hats. Salary $110-130k
