POSITION SUMMARY: The Third-Party Engagement & Reimbursement Specialist is responsible for strengthening member engagement among senior adults while supporting the financial sustainability of YMCA programs through accurate billing, usage tracking, and data management. This role plays a key part in increasing participation in eligible programs, ensuring proper reimbursement through third-party insurance providers, and maintaining accurate reporting and compliance standards. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: • Build meaningful relationships with senior adult members to increase engagement, participation, and overall program usage., • Conduct outreach to current and prospective senior members to promote programs eligible for third-party insurance reimbursement., • Educate members on eligibility requirements, enrollment processes, and program benefits., • Monitor attendance and verify participation to ensure accurate tracking of eligible program usage., • Manage billing processes for third-party insurance programs, including timely submission, reconciliation, and follow-up on outstanding claims., • Maintain accurate records of member participation, billing data, and reimbursement status., • Prepare and share required reports with insurance providers and internal leadership in compliance with data privacy regulations., • Collaborate with membership, wellness, and program staff to support program growth and member retention strategies., • Collaborate with Accounting to ensure revenue and deposits are recorded correctly., • Ensure compliance with YMCA policies, insurance provider requirements, and applicable data protection standards., • Identify opportunities to improve processes related to engagement, billing efficiency, and reporting accuracy. QUALIFICATIONS: • Associate or bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, finance, or related field preferred., • Experience in healthcare reimbursement, membership services, or customer engagement preferred., • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail., • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel required, including experience with formulas, pivot tables, data analysis, and reporting; proficiency in additional Microsoft Office applications and data tracking systems required., • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, particularly with senior adults., • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
