Working closely with the General Manager, the Head Maître d’ builds demand, develops regular guests, and ensures the room feels exceptional every night. In preparation for our upcoming opening, this position requires participation in a mandatory training program. Key Responsibilities Strategic Floor & Reservation Management • Own table inventory, availability, seating plans, pacing, and turn times., • Manage cancellations, waitlists, last-minute requests, and walk-ins to make effective use of every service., • Protect the guest experience while making sound decisions about covers and revenue., • Balance regulars, first-time guests, VIPs, celebrations, and walk-ins throughout the room. Guest Relations • Recognize guests, anticipate preferences, and turn first visits into lasting relationships., • Maintain accurate guest profiles and visit history in Loyalist., • Build genuine relationships with regulars, concierges, and the New York hospitality community., • Handle sensitive requests and guest recovery with discretion, warmth, and sound judgment. Responsibilities: • Responsible for reading, knowing and complying with all appropriate governing documents to include contracts, agency policies and procedures, State or Federal standards, specific program operations manuals and circulars both internal and external., • Ensures compliance with the agency’s Operations and Personnel Manuals and the Division of Developmental Disabilities Standards Manual., • Completes and submits in a competent, and timely manner all reports, forms, and documentation as required by the agency and Division of Developmental Disabilities., • Understands basic developmental disabilities and learning styles, using motivation techniques to help clients improve in areas with behavioral or medical challenges., • Must complete all CDS trainings and refreshers as directed., • Attend staff meetings, all other relevant meetings and training as directed., • Assist clients with goal outcomes established on the Individual Service Plan (ISP)., • Responsible for reading the ISP and working within the documented expectation for client development., • Provides a consistent means of relaying accurate and complete information to direct supervisors., • Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors according to plans that are in place., • Provides training and supervision to clients in all aspects of community experience living., • Serves as a positive role model for clients and other staff., • Provides safe transportation in agency vehicles for clients as necessary., • Maintains confidentiality and professionalism when communicating with family members or group home staff, Support Coordinators and any outside agency personnel., • Maintains active, positive engagement with clients at all times., • Always ensures the safety and well-being of clients., • Provide direct care and support to individuals with disabilities or special needs., • Proactively accompany and support clients during medical appointments, ensuring relevant information is provided to the healthcare professional. Clearly and accurately communicate details from the appointment to the Residential Coordinator, Medical Compliance Officer, and/or designee., • Follow and demonstrate understanding of medication policy and procedures in the monitoring and administration of the client’s medications. Completes Medication Error Report when needed., • Ensures home, grounds, yard and van are maintained in clean, safe, and sanitary condition., • Ensures meals are prepared and planned based on clients’ individual diet, client input, and the planned menu for the month., • Ensures that the Recreation Calendar is carried out as per client input and as per the planned calendar completed each month., • Responsible for competing all required documentation to include but not limited to, daily logs, communication logs, and behavior reports., • Ensures line of sight for the individual(s) being supported is maintained and completes reports accordingly., • Responsible for adequately and completely cleaning the home during any shift worked., • Ensures that a client’s dignity is not compromised in any way., • Responsible for reporting all emergencies or unusual incidents to direct supervisor., • Cooperates with the licensee and Department staff in any inspection, inquiry or investigation. EOE POSITION SUMMARY: CRED is a cohort-based vocational training program for at-risk individuals between the ages of 18-40 years old. The program provides classroom instruction, case management services, internship opportunities, and job placement services designed to help clients earn a Commercial Driver’s License and obtain employment in the transportation industry. The Social Worker will be responsible for providing comprehensive case management services including, but not limited to, mental health support, career counseling, personal guidance and development, life skills, and referrals. The Social Worker will work in both individual and group settings to help clients overcome personal and professional barriers. The individual selected for this position will be under the direct supervision of the CRED Program Director, will conduct themselves in a professional manner, and will comply with all standards set forth by United Activities Unlimited and the NYC Department of Youth & Community Development. PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (include but are not limited to): • Conduct intake interviews to understand each client’s individual needs, strengths, and goals., • Collect all required program documentation from clients, including enrollment, outcome, and follow-up paperwork., • Work with clients to develop an Individual Service Strategy (ISS) that reflects SMART short-and-long-term goals., • Provide case management services including regular check-ins to assess progress towards personal and professional goals., • Provide individual and group counseling, including but not limited to, mental health, behavior management, and mediation services., • Work collaboratively with other CRED staff members to conduct case planning and draft case notes according to DYCD requirements., • Refer clients in need of greater support to community based social service providers., • Maintain positive working relationships with social services agencies and other community partners to enrich programming, internship, and employment opportunities in alignment with client’s interests and ISS., • Assist other CRED staff members with conducting follow-up services, including obtaining compliance documentation from former clients., • Collect, maintain, and audit client files for completion and accuracy in accordance with DYCD and UAU policies., • Participate in team meetings, conferences, professional development trainings, and other program-related events and activities., • Work collaboratively with other CRED staff members to ensure the program meets all DYCD goals, deliverables, and deadlines., • Assist with other departmental duties and projects as needed.
