Job Description Community Manager – The Junction at Rockledge in Rockledge, Florida The Community Manager leads day-to-day operations of a multifamily community, ensuring exceptional resident experiences, strong financial performance, and alignment with Thompson Thrift's operational standards. Your Role as a Community Manager As a Community Manager, you will oversee all aspects of daily property operations while leading and developing an on-site team. This role is responsible for driving resident satisfaction, maintaining high occupancy, managing financial performance, and ensuring the community operates in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. You will serve as the primary leader on-site, fostering a strong sense of community while balancing operational, financial, and team leadership responsibilities. Key Responsibilities • Lead, coach, and develop on-site team members to deliver exceptional customer service and operational results, • Build strong relationships with residents, address concerns proactively, and support resident retention initiatives, • Oversee financial performance, including budgeting, rent collections, expense control, and occupancy goals, • Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure the community is well-maintained and meets quality standards, • Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and reporting standards, • Prepare operational, financial, and performance reports for leadership review, • Partner with leasing teams to execute marketing and leasing strategies that support full occupancy Education • Minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in multifamily property management, with a minimum of 3 years' experience as a Community Manager in multifamily., • Experience with Class A or luxury multifamily communities or lease-ups preferred, • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and be on-call as needed., • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and manage teams, • Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills, • Solid understanding of budgeting, financial reporting, and market analysis, • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with Yardi property management software preferred, • Ability to balance operational priorities while maintaining a resident-focused mindset The Community Manager plays a vital role in shaping the resident experience and overall success of a multifamily community.
