Job DescriptionDescription: Director of Talent Acquisition Fort Lauderdale, FL (Onsite) Travel Required Salary starting at $110,000+ (flexible based on experience) Build the Team That Powers a National Operation We’re looking for a hands-on, strategic Director of Talent Acquisition to lead and evolve our recruiting function across a fast-growing, multi-location organization. This is a fully onsite role based in Fort Lauderdale and requires national travel as needed to support hiring initiatives, leadership alignment, and field operations. This is a player-coach role leading a small but impactful team, with direct visibility and regular communication with the CEO. You’ll be expected to move quickly, make decisions, and drive results in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. What You’ll Own • Lead national talent acquisition strategy across field, corporate, and leadership hiring, • Partner directly with the CEO, executive team, and regional leadership on workforce planning and hiring strategy, • Drive recruiting performance across multiple locations, ensuring teams are staffed to meet operational demand, • Build and implement structured hiring processes, workflows, and accountability measures, • Oversee and optimize the ATS (configuration, reporting, compliance, and adoption), • Analyze and report on key metrics: time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, source effectiveness, and hiring trends, • Develop executive-level reporting to support real-time decision-making, • Strengthen recruiting pipelines through community partnerships, job marketing, and hiring events, • Lead employer branding initiatives and elevate the candidate experience, • Manage vendors, job boards, and external recruiting partnerships, • Coach and train hiring managers on interviewing and selection best practices, • Lead, mentor, and develop a small recruiting team, • Ensure compliance with all employment laws and company policies, • Continuously improve processes to increase efficiency, quality of hire, and retention Why This Role • Direct partnership and visibility with the CEO and executive leadership team, • Opportunity to build, shape, and scale recruiting across a national footprint, • High-impact role where speed, execution, and results matter, • Lead a team while remaining hands-on in a fast-moving, growth-focused company Requirements: What You Bring • 6+ years of progressive talent acquisition experience, • 3+ years leading recruiting teams or functions, • Experience in high-volume, multi-site environments (transportation, logistics, operations, retail, hospitality, etc.), • Strong background in ATS management, recruiting analytics, and process design, • Proven ability to build structure, drive accountability, and execute quickly, • Experience managing recruiting budgets and analyzing ROI, • Advanced skills in data analysis, reporting, and dashboards (Excel or similar tools), • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact directly with executive leadership, • Comfortable operating in a fast-moving, operationally driven environment
