Job Description Role Objective The Warehouse Operations Supervisor is the strategic lead for our New Jersey facility. This role focuses exclusively on the "Operations Lane"—Order Processing and Logistics—to ensure flawless execution and on-time fulfillment. This position is empowered to maintain high operational standards and strict inventory integrity Key Responsibilities 1. NJ Operations Management (Primary Focus) · Order Fulfillment (Top Priority): Take full ownership of daily sales order tracking. Coordinate shipment schedules to ensure 100% on-time fulfillment and accuracy. · Logistics Tracking: Act as the local point of contact for inbound logistics; monitor container deliveries and verify shipment dates and receipt status with the warehouse team. · Inventory Control: Lead and coordinate quarterly inventory counts and periodic spot checks. Reconcile physical results with digital inventory records to ensure zero variance. · Operational Standards: Serve as the bridge between HQ and the local facility. Implement HQ guidelines and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), addressing local operational issues as they arise. 2. Team Leadership & People Management · Staff Supervision: Manage the local administrative and warehouse staff, including interviewing, hiring, and onboarding. · Performance & Accountability: Plan, assign, and direct daily work. Conduct performance appraisals and manage employee rewards or disciplinary actions. · Training: Ensure all staff are trained on Harvest Pack SOPs and safety protocols to maintain a high-performing team. 3. Warehouse & Facility Oversight · Execution: Effectively manage the receipt, storage, selection, packaging, and loading of products. · FIFO Compliance: Enforce First-In/First-Out (FIFO) procedures for all stock rotation and scanning. · Equipment & Safety: Supervise forklift and pallet jack operations. Identify causes of product loss and take immediate corrective action. · Resolution Management: Provide leadership in resolving delivery errors, returns, and damaged products to protect customer and business relationships. Key Success Metrics (KPIs) · On-Time Fulfillment Rate: Percentage of daily orders shipped within the designated window. · Inventory Accuracy: Success of quarterly reconciliations and reduction in "shrink" or product loss. · SOP Compliance: Successful implementation and adherence to HQ operational guidelines at the NJ level. · Logistics Efficiency: Timeliness of container turnaround and accuracy of receipt status reporting. Qualifications & Requirements · Education: High School diploma or higher. · Experience: * Minimum 2+ years in a warehouse environment. o Proven experience supervising a team and managing administrative staff. · Technical Skills: * Strong mathematical skills for inventory reconciliation. o Proficiency in Excel/Spreadsheets and order processing software. o Knowledge of SAP or similar Inventory/Manufacturing software (Preferred). · Certifications: Valid Forklift Certification (Required). · Attributes: Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to maintain strict confidentiality regarding department business.
