Senior Manager, Consumer, Shopper & Innovation Insights The Senior Manager, Consumer, Shopper & Innovation Insights is a strategic partner to the Bayer Consumer Health business, responsible for translating holistic consumer and shopper understanding into clear decisions and measurable commercial impact. This role integrates consumer behavior, shopper dynamics, and innovation insights to inform brand strategy, innovation pipelines, and go-to-market execution, responsible for driving growth and bringing sustainable consumer driven innovation to a $1B business. Success is defined not by insight generation alone, but by the ability to shape decisions, influence outcomes, and accelerate growth across the organization. YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Business Growth & Insight Integration * Embed consumer, shopper, and innovation insights across brand strategy, commercialization, and innovation to drive growth and competitive advantage. * Synthesize complex, multi-source evidence into clear priorities, recommendations, and actions. * Act as a continuous sensing function, identifying shifts in consumer behavior, culture, and the marketplace to proactively guide business response. * Ability to test and learn fast but validate robustly. * Strategic Influence & Decision Support * Partner with senior leaders across Marketing, Commercial Strategy, Innovation, Media, and the new created BDT and ECF's forums * Influence decisions at multiple levels through clarity, strong storytelling, and business acumen consumer and shopper insights driven. * Ensure consumer and shopper insight is a critical input into major business and investment decisions. * Strong external radar to drive brands and category growth with a lagging, current and leading approach * Innovation & Future Focus * Guide consumer-led innovation strategies by identifying unmet needs and future growth opportunities. * Build and apply a cross-category innovation testing process that increases launches success rate. * Translate cultural, technological, and commerce trends into actionable innovation implications. * Activation & Impact * Deliver insight in activation-ready formats tailored to stakeholder decision needs. * Connect human insight to commercial levers including positioning, pricing, packaging, media, retail execution, and innovation. * Track and demonstrate the impact of insights where possible. * People & Capability Leadership * Lead and develop insight talent, strengthening both technical expertise and influence skills. * Foster a culture of curiosity, learning, and constructive challenge. * Manage agency partners and budgets to maximize ROI. WHO YOU ARE * 8 years in strategy, consulting, consumer insights, or shopper insights. * Extensive experience leading consumer and/or shopper insights in complex organizations. * Demonstrated track record of translating insights into tangible business outcomes. * Experience managing agencies, budgets, and cross-functional stakeholders. * Strong exposure to brand strategy, innovation, and commercialization. * Bachelor's Degree. Employees can expect to be paid a salary of approximately $160k-210k. Additional compensation may include a bonus or incentive program (if relevant). Additional benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc..
