Ensure effective communications with internal and external teams, departments, customers and vendors to achieve Operations’ goals. Hire, train, develop, and manage performance of departmental staff to attain a cohesive, motivated team. Primary Responsibilities (Essential Functions): • Maintain operational documentation to include reports, licenses, procedures, order requirements, etc., • Supervise segregation, consolidation, and packaging of hazardous, non-hazardous, and universal wastes, and off-spec materials for storage., • Communicate with shipping/receiving when waste is ready for shipment., • Supervise and communicate with other sites and corporate teams to coordinate work., • Monitor order status from order receipt to settlement on each order, • Supervise processing of received wastes, including communications with customer to provide updates and/or resolve issues or clarify requirements., • Primary responsibility for creating and maintaining operational reports., • Responsible for purchasing for the facilities including generating purchase orders, work orders, and review of invoicing for services provided., • Support compliance with all federal, state and local permit requirements., • Communicate to management facility needs, difficulties and changes in operations., • Affect positive change and continuous improvement., • Oversee production including managing a team of technicians. Schedule and distribute work to team. Instruct, provide feedback, direct and assist team in performance of job duties to complete work in accordance with regulatory requirements and Clean Earth policies, practices and procedures., • Train technicians and operators on-the-job in equipment operation, service line processes and necessary paperwork. This encompasses all daily operations including safety, staffing, pool operations, swim lesson quality, customer service, and workplace employee activities amongst other duties. Duties and Responsibilities include the following: 1. Directs and controls the daily operations to ensure the school is running according to GSS standard operating procedures., 2. Helps the General Manager and department managers fulfill all daily tasks., 3. Manages the staff of GSS to ensure high productivity, excellent performance and positive employee satisfaction., 4. Initiates and oversees workplace employee activities with the goal of achieving improved employee satisfaction., 5. Trains and oversees the aquatics department to provide superior swim instruction to the students of GSS., 7. Troubleshoot the mechanical room as necessary., 8. Gains a high level of knowledge and experience in the GSS pool operations necessary to maintain a safe and sanitary swim environment., 9. Development of wet side staff., 10. Ensures the highest level of swim lesson quality., 12. Maintains current certifications and stays up-to-date professionally on the aquatics and management field. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in municipal engineering, strong leadership capabilities, and a proven track record in managing technical teams and client relationships. Responsibilities: • Provide mentorship, training, and professional development for junior staff. Ensure group productivity and adherence to quality standards., • Supervise preparation of engineering documents for municipal projects, including plans, specifications, and cost estimates for roadway, drainage, sewer, water, parks, and athletic field improvements.
