Build accountability, reduce risk, and elevate standards across every job site. #PortakleenC We’re looking for a dependable Health & Safety Manager to lead safety strategy, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive a proactive safety culture across Porta Kleen operations. This role partners with field leadership to reduce risk, strengthen accountability, and support safe, compliant work environments across multiple job sites. What You’ll Bring • Safety Leadership – Ability to influence teams, coach supervisors, and reinforce accountability at all levels of the organization, • Regulatory Knowledge – Strong understanding of OSHA standards and environmental health regulations across field and facility operations, • Effective Communication – Confident trainer and communicator who can clearly deliver expectations and engage diverse teams, • Analytical Thinking – Detail-oriented with the ability to assess risk, identify trends, and implement practical safety improvements What You’ll Do • Develop, implement, and maintain EHS programs, policies, and procedures across all operations, • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local safety and environmental regulations, • Lead and deliver safety training programs for field teams, supervisors, and new hires, • Maintain accurate safety documentation, training records, and compliance reporting, • Conduct routine audits, inspections, and field observations to identify hazards, • Recommend and track corrective actions to ensure timely hazard resolution, • Investigate incidents, near misses, and injuries to determine root cause, • Implement corrective and preventive actions to reduce future risk exposure, • Facilitate safety meetings and committees to promote engagement and accountability, • Monitor safety performance metrics and provide reporting to leadership, • Partner with operations leadership to integrate safety into daily workflows, • Supervise and support safety personnel, providing guidance, coaching, and performance oversight, • Promote continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen overall safety culture What You’ll Need • Associate degree required; bachelor’s degree in Safety, Environmental Health, or related field preferred, • OSHA 30 certification (General Industry or Construction) required, • First Aid/CPR certification required or ability to obtain within 6 months, • Minimum 3+ years of safety experience with at least 2+ years in a leadership role, • Ability to travel between multiple job sites and work in active industrial and outdoor environments, • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (8–10+ hours) across job sites and uneven terrain, • Ability to climb ladders, work at heights, and navigate confined or restricted spaces as needed, • Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 30 pounds regularly, • Ability to perform repetitive movements including bending, kneeling, and reaching, • Must be able to wear required PPE and work in environments with exposure to weather, noise, and industrial conditions Benefits and Perks • Competitive salary with opportunities for career growth and advancement, • Medical, dental, and vision coverage, • 401(k) with company match, • Paid time off and floating holidays, • Volunteer Time Off (VTO) to give back to your community, • Employee referral bonus program, • Wellness benefits that support your overall health and well-being, • Opportunities for professional development, training, and leadership growth, • Collaborative and supportive team environment, • Stable company with long-term career opportunities Who Thrives Here You enjoy meaningful work and take pride in contributing to a team that values collaboration, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
