Job DescriptionDescription: The Wealth Partner Team Leader provides outstanding personalized service to their clients through the bank’s premiere financial services. They are responsible for leading their team to achieve long term growth, provide clients a great experience, and contribute to corporate level initiatives such as training, marketing and business program development. They cater to the customer with a focus on growing and protecting the client’s assets and seek to make a positive impact on the communities in which they live and work. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Work closely with Retail Management to ensure that branch customers with investment needs are being introduced properly to Wealth Partners, • Collaborate with Commercial Lending & Treasury Management on identifying prospects., • Generate new recurring fee and commission relationships to lead divisional team to achieve its revenue targets, • Manage multiple Wealth Partners in a bank division. This includes monitoring pipeline activities, overseeing annual and semi-annual performance reviews, regular one-on-one conversations and keeping the Director of Business Development apprised of any business issues., • Adhere to the complexity of FINRA guidelines and bank compliance., • Establish additional processes and procedures that align with corporate goals and initiatives ATTITUDES Builds positive relationships with internal and external clients by valuing other's feelings and rights in both words and actions, and embracing other's unique beliefs, backgrounds, and perspectives by demonstrating: • Respect - Maintain a culture of teamwork, collaboration and client focus by respecting all aspects of clients and co-workers., • Client Focused - Focusing on providing exceptional customer experience., • Inclusion - Including all colleagues to ensure diverse thoughts are incorporated implemented processes and procedures. Supervisors are expected to hold regular one-on-ones with direct reports to provide them with an invaluable chance to align goals, offer guidance, and foster growth within their teams. • Oversees Wealth Partners and their overall business activity, • Creates best practices for Wealth Partners on engaging with internal and external referral sources SEEKS PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES Actively participate in expanding skill sets and career paths by attending training programs, workshops, certifications, and educational resources relevant to the role. Requirements: QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION, & EXPERIENCE To perform this job successfully, an individual is required to perform each crucial job requirement satisfactorily and a skills inventory is listed below: 4-year degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and/or experience. Minimum of 7 years’ experience in Wealth Management or a related field required. 10+ years’ worth of wisdom in banking, financial services preferred. Prior sales and new business development experience required. Management and recruiting of team members will be required over time. Proven experience advising clients of investments, pre- and post-retirement, education funding, and financial planning. CFP or similar professional designation preferred. FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses plus Series 65 or 66, plus NY Life & Health license are preferred, but not required. A background check will be conducted. • LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, comprehend, and interpret documents. Possesses professional communication and interpersonal skills to write and speak effectively both one-on-one and before groups of clients or employees of the organization. Ability to communicate to clients directly and effectively., • TECHNOLOGY SKILLS: Ability to utilize telephone systems and possess good digital literacy including email, internet and intranet use. Prior experience or the ability to learn excel, power point and any other computer programs pertinent to performing job duties., • MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure. Ability to compute rate of return, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs., • REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to solve challenging problems involving several variables in a standardized situation.
