ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Rochester, New York. Job Description & Requirements • Specialty: ED - Emergency Department, • Discipline: RN, • Start Date: 10/13/2025, • Duration: 13 weeks, • 36 hours per week, • Shift: 12 hours, nights, • Shift Type: Mid 3x12-Hour (15:00 - 03:00)\n, • Patient Ratios: 1 RN to 5 patients with mixed/shared acuity levels\n, • Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend\n\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n, • Provide general emergency department care for adult and pediatric patients.\n, • Interpret and manage dysrhythmias and patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure.\n, • Administer blood products and manage central lines.\n, • Perform phlebotomy, IV starts, and continuous IV sedation and paralytics administration.\n, • Utilize emergency medications and IV vasopressors as needed.\n, • Conduct procedural sedation administration and manage cerebrovascular accidents (CVA).\n, • Observe isolation precautions and participate in interdisciplinary support teams.\n\n\nRequired Qualifications\n\n, • Years of Experience: Minimum of 1 year in an emergency department setting.\n, • Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS.\n, • Charting Experience: Proficiency in Epic is highly preferred.\n, • Floating Requirement: Must be willing to float when census warrants.\n, • Location: Candidates within 75 miles of the facility are not accepted.\n\n\nUnit Details\n\n, • Patient Age Groups: Neonates, Infants, Pediatrics, Adults, Geriatrics.\n, • Daily Visits: Approximately 145.\n, • Number of Rooms: 34.\n, • Health Benefits: Day-1 access to extensive benefits including Medical, Vision, Dental, Life, and more.\n, • Onboarding Made Easy: We coordinate your onboarding essentials—like physicals and titers—so you can focus on patient care while we handle the details.\n, • Clinical Support: Our in-house clinical team is here to answer questions, troubleshoot challenges, and advocate for you—every step of the way.\n, • 401k Retirement Savings Plan: After a qualifying waiting period, you're eligible to enroll.
